I wanted some opinions on my 800pts necron force as I feel that it will get crushed

Destroyer Lord
Mindschakles
2+ armor
Warscythe

10 Immortals
Gauss Blasters
Night Scythe

5 Warriors

5 Deathmarks
Night Scythe

3 Tomb Blades
Particle beamers
Shield Vanes.

This force feels underpowered to me, but I'm not sure why.

Well, in small pt games you need numbers:

10 Warrior w/ Night Scythe - 230
10 Warrior w/ Night Scythe - 230
10 Immortals - 170
DLord w/ weave, mss - 160

That seems like a better army than my one. I'll use that if no one else has any suggestions by 1:00, but what's the tactics for this army? To rush the foe with Warriors and Nightscythes while the immortals cover fire?

Well, it depends on the mission.
In objective games, I'd take the Immortals to secure one objective in your home zone.
You could take 2x5 Immortals in maelstrom missions.
The DLord is a one-man wreck machine going after a shooty unit or counter-striking.
The NS will come in later.
Then you'll see how to use the Warriors. They could disembark asap.

Ah thanks! That really helps me as I'm not too good at tactics, but when I figure them out I will be able to wreck my enemy. This army is good as it has high mobility, which I love in an army.

Does the fact that this is a competitive list make any difference?

I feel like this would be a better list, 10 in a night scythe is as useful as 5...

HQ:
Overlord, CCB, Warscythe, MSS, Sempiternal Weave and Phase Shifter 255

1 Stormtek 25

Troops:
5 Warriors 65
Night Scythe 100

5 Warriors 65
Night Scythe 100

Heavy Support:
Annihilation Barge 90

Annihilation Barge 90

Total: 790

Leaves you ten points short, would probably get a lightning field for a storm tek maybe?

I kinda prefer the first list, and also I don't have 2 Annihilation Barges, only one. However, I do like this list a lot as well, I just prefer more troops.

Note that Night Scythe will be in reserve so there is a chance that if you only have 10-11 models on the field so you may be tabled before they even come on.

Ok then, that's fair, but I only have one ABarge. So I'll have to change that list a bit

With a CCB and 2 annihilation Barges on the table turn 1 you will not get tabled unless your god awful, the CCB is one of the toughest units in the game right now, its AV 13 with a 3++, if you can kill that and 2 annihilation barges in one turn of shooting at 800 points you can colour my impressed. Trust me this thing is nails, the lower the points limit for the army, the better it will do.
