So since they now have EU/ UK distribution, I ordered the space mat last week and I was so impressed I decided to go back and order the urban one. Only problem now is that when I go to calculate shipping I get a little blue progress bar and then nothing. No shipping options, no error, nothing. It means I can't checkout and complete the order. Anyone else seeing the same thing or just me? I have tried multiple browsers, tried emailing them but no reply yet. Really want to get this mat ordered! To clarify, this is on the EU webstore at http://eustore.frontlinegaming.org - don't know if the US one is seeing the same issue.

Hi Filbert,
Can you please email me at Contact@FrontlineGaming.org and let me know exactly what you're seeing?
Also, what email address did you email us at? We do not have an email from you.

Will do, cheers for the quick response. I think I used the 'contact us' webform on the site so not an actual email as such.

Could you take some photos of your space mat filbert?
I am impressed with this style of mat (also offered by gamermat.eu from what I understand, although I have the problem you used to have with Frontline in that they're across the pond from me!). The main benefit being the lack of gloss/glare that some other mats (like the space mat I have from Deep Cut) suffer from. The thickness of the material is also great.
That said, I'm not sold on some of the designs from the website pics, and with others people have noticed differences once they're out "in the wild"... so seeing some amateur shots of yours would be most appreciated!

It is excellent quality and I am very impressed. I am a big fan of the neoprene style mats. The website doesn't do them justice; they look much better in the flesh. I am away with work at the moment but I'll take a snap when I get home - I have plans to christen it with a BFG battle

I ordered the Alpine mat last week, so I can take a pic of that for you, I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Actually, I'm still waiting for it to ship. The UPS number that was emailed to me says the package was prepared on the 12th, but has not been delivered to UPS yet.

The Urban Combat 1 mat looks awesome. A friend of mine picked one up and it has great, crisp, detail.
I picked up the Barren Wasteland, mostly because I have the Urban Secret Weapon boards on the way, and it's solid. Darker than I had expected from the pictures, it has less of a desert look as a result.

I personally prefer the urban combat 2 map just because it is less grid like and is on a slant. But all the maps are so cool.

I like the layout of that one as well, but the detail doesn't look to be comparable to the original, at least based on the pictures in the store. Do you own an Urban Combat 2 mat?

Yeah, that's why I like to see pictures in person - I actually have Alpine (from the Kickstarter!) but the barren wasteland almost everyone has said turned out darker. The urban ones, I dislike the layout of the first (a basic grid) and the second I think does not have the same level of detail...
Overall, I love the material, just trying to be choosy about getting the right designs! Since it is one solid piece, you'll be playing on the configuration a LOT if it is too linear (like urban 1, imo). Alpine of course avoids that issue nicely with the only drawback being that it is hard to match terrain with (which is definitely a challenge).

Hey I didn't see the point in making another thread, but are the mats measured exactly to 6x4 and 4x4? We have a custom gaming table and I wanted to make sure it would fit inside of it (wooden "rails" are all around the table to stop dice from falling off).
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

One thought about that, is that these mats cut easily with an exacto / hobby knife / razor blade. I took mine to FedEx Kinkos where they have a nice straight edge for doing this with (and bought a cardboard tube there, to boot, since I found the carry bag too floppy to be useful for a long mat).

I went for the 6'x4' Grassy Plains and 6'x4' Blast Zone mats- both of which look awesome.
The material can be best described as heavy duty mousemat with waterproofing and super grippy rubber.

For RiTides, since he asked so nicely - some pictures of my space mat:
Obviously, looks even better in person. The only (exceedingly minor) irritation is a crease that I can't seem to get out. Tried ironing it but haven't managed to make it disappear yet. If anyone has some tips on removing a crease from these neoprene style mats, please speak up now!
Anyway, the I got in touch with Frontline Gaming regarding the ordering issue and hopefully it is sorted now and I look forward to my urban mat arriving soon.
The wife and I played a game of X-Wing on the space mat and we both had fun but for it's 'official christening', so to speak, I plan to play a game of BFG soon:
