Hi, I am going for a catachan jungle fighters theme for this list, hence some of the choices. (Don't hate the list, it is purely for fun relaxed games). I am using escalation rules to allow a baneblade, not sure if im doing this rigt so any pointers on escalation would be helpful. I call this list 'the bane of catachan' as it is moslty based around the baneblade, with little else in the army apart from some supportin fire. And I think the general tactic here is to sit the baneblade in the middle of my deployment zone, with the command squad and 2 veteran squads running up into cover as soon as possible to start laying down some supporting fire. Anyway, here's the list:

Command squad with carapace armour-commander with bolter and blade of conquest
-medic
-banner bearer
-sniper
-heavy flamer

Veteran squad-sergeant with bolt pistol and power sword
-heavy flamer
-plasma gun
-7 veterans

Veteran squad-sergeant with bolt pistol and power sword
-heavy flamer
-plasma gun
-7 veterans

Baneblade with extra twin linked lascannons and heavy bolters

rocked a similar list a while back...lots of fun, but haters gonna hate when you show up with a baneblade at 1000pts...

just so you know the lascannons arent twin linked, just the heavy bolters.
