If you’re free tomorrow, Saturday, the 22nd and in the Sacramento, CA area, this might be for you.

Head on over to Great Escape Games in Sacramento and look for Bryce and Gordy, who will be getting some feedback from gamers about a new project we’ve been working on for some time now. It’s an app for organizing, playing and recording tabletop games…and a lot more! However, for now, we will keep it a little vague as is it still in the testing phase.

So, swing on by anytime between noon and 6:00pm to check it out if it sounds interesting! You will be one of the first to check out this new project, be able to give direct feedback and input and get the chance to win some cool prizes and swag! It costs nothing to participate in, either. Sweet!
We will be having another event like this next Saturday, November 29th, also at Great Escape Games if you can’t make this one.

Not in America, but it sounds cool and I'm interested in seeing what you come up with!

Will it be available on the Appstore?

It will indeed! We're still testing at this stage, but we'd love to get some feedback from anyone that is curious about it.

Canada is a bit for to travel from, though =P

Hello Dakka! I'm so happy that Reece/Frankie are finally allowing me out of my cage for awhile to start getting feedback from all of you now that we're in alpha!

Big shout out to The Mercy Killers, Team0Comp, and some of the local Sacramento players who frequent Great Escape Games that are already helping us with alpha testing!

We're testing with over thirty tabletop gaming systems. Casual? Competitive? Fluffy Bunny(Bear in my case hehehe)? Hobbyist? We're looking for everyone's input to fine tune things.

I'll be giving away a few goodies to a few lucky people tomorrow at Great Escape Games and even more next weekend! I'll be checking back to provide additional info in this thread and to answer questions. I'm sure some interesting info will come out of our first little gathering tomorrow.

Thanks again to the few folks who stopped by Great Escape Games on short notice today, you're input is greatly appreciated!

Congrats to John who took home a Tau Broadside Suit, Brian who took home a box of Necron Warriors, and Dave who took home a Z95 Headhunter and E-Wing!

Shout out to Cody who brought his Chaos Daemon army to do battle with Gordon's Grey Knights. The Grey Knights won in the end, but Chaos will be back. I'll definitely bring some Chaos goodies for you next week, you earned them!

We discussed the alpha testing a little bit. User Profiles, Match making with nearby players/location lookup, ELO ranking per game and the Listing of Users, Matches, ELO Rank and Game Store locations. We discussed some of the supported systems such as 40k, WFB, DzC, Infinity, X-Wing, Bolt Action, Flames of War, Warmachine/Hordes, etc. It was cool.

The big topic and teaser for next Saturday folks is the Reward Point System.

I'll be bringing along a couple of the F.A.T Mats, a Battle Foam Spear Bag with pluck foam and some additional cool stuff to give away!

Hey fellers,

Just want to let you know that if you all are trying to get some organization for regional gamers, don't discount Redding and the REAL NoCal. There's a nice community up here and a very competent TO. We have one GT winner too, and several participants. Put me on the list for alerts and PM me for the cell of our TO.

Greetings Grover, I dig the Mt. Shasta area.

Organization is as good a word. For the past 25 years up until the end of January this year I was part of a vast organization that dealt with Title XIX's (State Healthcare) in the US. A big service for 10's of millions of people. I've enjoyed table top gaming since the RT days, it's always been an escape from 'the job'. Now it is 'the job'. There were two things last year that put me on this path.

1. The Games Workshop posting of the Community Outreach position.
2. A Tasty Taste article on Blood and Kittens.

So I went out and started doing some research about the different services table top gamers/hobbyists want on a global level and how to deliver it all in one package.

We're going to be local, regional, national and world wide from the word 'go' and everyone is invited. IMO everyone should send Reece an email at contact@frontlinegaming.org telling him they want more info about what we're doing. He can't put me back in my cage for that. I'm allowed to respond to direct inquires here on Dakka and in other forum threads, I just can't offer up too much on my own. *hint* *hint*

We'll definitely get the Redding crew involved in testing Grover and I hope some of the crew are able to make it down to Sacramento next Saturday!
