So I posted previously that I was looking to start Khador and couldn't decide between the 2 Player box ro the battle group, well now there's a new contender. The 25 Point bundles for Black Friday. http://privateerpress.com/black-friday-and-cyber-monday-sales The Khador is one of the more expensive bundles, and while it comes with some cool goodies, my main problem is that it doesn't come with a lot of warjacks, which is what I want my army to focus on (I know there's a warcaster that is better at that). What do you all think? Is anyone else going to dip in on these deals?

If that's the current one, that seems like some pretty good tools. I think it might be old though, cause the 10 year already passed and I kinda remember seeing some of those lists.

There is this one, gets you a couple of jacks as well.

It's a pretty standard approach; the biggest problem with the Khador one is that it comes with two warjacks and two warcasters that like having exactly one warjack. You'd want to look into Battle Mechaniks, Andrei, Mercenary 'Jack Marshals, and Karchev for a many-warjacks Khador force.

They are an excellent value for the money. Not the best lists but you can easily get into the game with these.

Novaspike has the link to the current bundles. They are smaller but quite a bargain. I feel they are wonderful companions to the standard battleboxes.

How much is their shipping? I can see buying that Cyriss force but I don't really need anything else at the moment.

It's usually a little on the high side. Between $7 and $10.

Yeah, it's about the same to pick it up from DGI. The two plastic kits get you a dollar shy of free shipping (in the US) and the caster puts it over the top.

Strakhov, Marauder and Spriggan is a great deal if those are the only warjacks you will ever ever use.

The Cygnar box isn't that bad either. I can't speak for Cryx, CoC or Menoth, but I think the RoS one is the best for WM. I think the Hordes deals look much less desirable, but Minions seems the most solid.

Also, derek: if you bought the two plastic kits, you could magnetize.

Just general info for me, or? I usually do magnetize the popular optio.ns from plastic kits as a rule. Usually it depends on the kit and if I think the options would ever see play (or look good, for Trollbloods, I would never run a plastic Mauler, metal looks so much better). That Khador kit with the Marauder I would have to magnetize. The Mara was one of the first jacks I ever bought (way back in Mk1), and I haven't put one on the table in YEARS, Khador has so many better options.

Khador juggy chassis was really easy. That was my first magnetizing endeavor. No, I just mean 2 plastic jack kits > 2 specific jacks, cuz of magnetics.
