Thoughts anyone? Not sure what lore i would take... probably shadow.

I wrote something similar to this a couple of days ago but havent managed to test it yet.

1) Your BSB is illegal, 50pts of magic items... he's very over that
2) Personally I wouldnt pay for additional hand weapons on trolls its costing you 48 points to tell you opponant your going to vomit on them
3) its called sneaky beasts but there are no beasts in the list? is the sneaky part that there is a lot of scouts etc?
4) Last time I checked, Marauders cant take a magic banner?
5) I honestly dont know how the maurader block will fare in combat, youll give up alot of points in bodies when they die fast, Khorne and greatweapons mean the extra attack is nice, but honestly I think you could spend 354pts

1) I think the BSB is good, the battle standard, his mark and his shield don't count towards his magical and gift allowance surely?
2) You're probably right about this one but I probably wouldn't vomit on everything, anything ws3 i'm going to hack at and enjoy the (average) 2 attacks landing.
3) Lol yeh I just meant that its got beastmen in it and they're scouty and stuff...
4) You're right about the marauders banner, I had 5 pts over and gleaming pennant is usually my 'use up 5 remaining pts' thing. Any ideas for how to use the last 5pts?
5) You are probably right again but I really want to use my marauders, I started WOC just before the new army book dropped so i'm still butthurt by the points increase! any ideas as to how I can get the best out of them?

Apologies for point 1, I read Tailsman of protection as Talisman of Preservation, which ment you over on points, the bsb is legal

Lol no worries, i missed the pts for bsb off anyway if you hadn't have said it was over points I wouldn't have checked and noticed that.

Don't forget that Gorebulls grant Frenzy to any unit that they join, so the Trolls and Throgg get an additional attack. It's basically like an extra hand weapon. Plus, the rear ranks can't attack more than 3 times anyway.

I'm assuming you are using Wulfric and the Marauders to attack off the side of a board edge. Personally I'd just use ambushing Gor. In fact, Gors are better than Marauders anyway, even though Wulfric is quite cool.


BTW, what lore is your Shaman using? I'm assuming Death because you are scouting up the board.

I was thinking shadow but i'd not made my mind up, you think death would be best?

Do you reckon i should drop the extra hand weapons then?

I'm thinking about dropping some trolls to get a unit of gors to ambush with the marauders... Do you think i could get away with say 8 trolls. They should be pretty survivable with the regen and 4++ vs flaming.

I'd thin the trolls, and add scouting harpies. It gives your great bray shaman a look out sir on a 4+ for scouting near the harpies.
If you can squeeze in some Flesh hounds, do it.

I haven't got the demons book so don't know points of flesh hounds so for now...

Next time you make a "sneaky beasts" list be sure to include some "sneaky beasts".

The name of this list has just caused far too much trouble... shall I change it? lol
I would describe ambushing/scouting beastmen stuff as sneaky beasts obviously this is not ok.

Yeah its all in fun man. Sneaky beats are ambushers that's all.
