Hi All,

The point of this list is to try a fun Gunslinger list. The way I imagine it will be with Jump Packs, or maybe drop pods. I think Jump Packs will give a more cool look to the army.

To be fair this could be done with C:SM with only minor changes but would cost more overall as the Hand Flamers are Cheaper than Plasma and Grav pistols.

Sanguary Priest (Hand Flamer, Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack, Melta Bombs) 91
Sanguary Priest (Grav Pistol, Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack, Melta Bombs) 96

Tactical Squad (Heavy Flamer, Razorback, Twin Linked Heavy Flamer) 145
Tactical Squad (Heavy Flamer, Razorback, Twin Linked Heavy Flamer) 145

Vanguard Veteran Squad (Melta Bombs, Jump Packs, 5 Hand Flamers) 165
Vanguard Veteran Squad (Melta Bombs, Jump Packs, 5 Hand Flamers) 165
Vanguard Veteran Squad (Melta Bombs, Jump Packs, 5 Grav Pistols) 190

997

The idea is to throw the Sang Priests with the VV squads. The Grav pistol VV and Priest attack things that S3 flamers cant hurt. Otherwise jump over and shoot Bolt Pistols and Hand Flamers towards whatever there is!

I understand SOB Serephim would probably be a better idea but I dont really like the look of those models and I think SM Jump marines will win the Rule of Cool for the Gunslinger look

Tell me what you think or what you would do to make it more fun!

Very maneuverable, looks like great fun to me! Only problem is a lack of anti-air, and at 1000 points, a flyer may be present.

I'd love to play both with and against this list though, very fun.

If you're playing gunslingers, I don't think you're in a very competitive setting. I wouldnt worry about aircraft so much. I will say that you should switch the tac marines into drop pods, and trade out a VV squad for DC with the extra points. That way all 3 squads have FNP.

Rule #1 is Look Cool.
Rule #2 is Do Cool S*%* Even If It's Tactically Inadvisable
Winning is something like Rule #17.

Overkill is officially defined by the Commissariat and the Munitorium as: "The minimum amount of force that is to be brought to bear against the enemies of the Emperor."

Yeah it wouldnt be a competetive matchup. Even if there were a flyer im sure a bunch of snapshooting jump troops trying to get rear armour shots could be funny

I do love the new DC rules and cost. Just cant give them two pistols what is why I didn't initially include them
