Subject: Imperial Fist Chapter & Allies (Army is taking shape)
Here I will be keeping a list and blog of my Imperial Fist and Allies Collection.
They will be assigned the Skull Emblem for their campaign so that Imperial Forces will know they belong to the same force.

Here is the army as it now stands.
First I'll give a quick explanation of the colours of text.
-Green: This unit is complete.
-Orange: This unit is awaiting detailing. (decals, weathering and varnish)
-Yellow: This unit is getting painted.
-Red: This unit is awaiting assembly.
All units that are not done will have the initials W.I.P. before them. Work In Progress.

Really nice solid yellow you've got going there Remco! Good work!
I'm loving the freehand Company Banner you've got there too, freehand, while it can be frustratingly difficult at times does add a bit more of an epic feel to Astartes.
One mild bit of criticism, looks like you've missed a mold line on your Company Champion's sword arm.
Here is a little update on what had been going on. I have completed the Command Squad and got an order in today that I have been waiting for.
Got a Games Workshop order with Lysander, Space Marines Codex Supplement: Sentinels Of Terra and Tha Imperial Knight Companion.
From Forgeworld I got a Command Set mk IV armour, Imperial Fists Terminator Pads 2x, Titan Crew, Titan Techpriest and Titan house Terryn Upgrade Set.
From my bookstore I got the novels Malodrax and Seventh Retribution both written by Ben Counter.
I also started to make a VLOG on youtube. When I have some Showcase videos of the Imperial Fists I will set a link in this thread so you can check em out.

Thank you for your kind words. I know of the moldline and I will definitly get back to that in a later stage but for now I want my army to take shape. I've written it down in my maintenance manual and will promise to fix it in the future.

Thanks Leviathus. I like the powders as well. Didn't expect a lot of it but they really make a difference on your models. Will be using a lot more of these in the future. But only lightly on the models. I want to try and still give them that good maintained look. So little bits of battle damage and little grime.

So I've been working on my Imperial Fists this weekend. Here are some of the end results for Captain Darnath Lysander, 5th Company Command Squad and 5th Company Dreadnought.
At this moment I'm working on a Predator, Titan Crew and Titan Enginseer. Waiting for an order that has to come in one of these days hopefully. According to my girlfriend there is a nice surprise coming for my birthday so I can't wait to see what that is.

Well here is an update on what has been going on with the progress on the Imperial Fists.
I updated the first post at the top of this thread. Underneath all the spoilers will be what I have for those companies and how the progress is on those models.
I will allways try and make good pictures of the "green" squads/models. Titan crew are coming this weekend. Also when I have a turning disk I will make showcase vids for all the squads/models and post these on my youtube channel. Also I'll be linking these videos in these posts.
I've been working on some vids for Youtube while I recently joined the Legion of Gamza and am excited to be active in this community. Been working hard on all the models in the time that I'm of. I luckily have a really awesome girlfriend who gave me one of the coolest birthday presents I've ever gotten. An Imperial Knight Titan. However thi is an awesome model it will have to wait till I have my Imperial Fists ready for combat. So first up will be to tell you guys that I've gotten an order in for a lot of my Imperial Fists.
Here is the list of everything that came in the mail and what I got for my birthday. Not everything is on the picture cause there are some boxes on the workbench.
2x Terminator Assault Squad.
2x Scout Squad with Sniper Rifles.
4x Devastator Squad.
4x Tactical Squad.
1x Predator.
1x Imperial Knight.
So for now I'm set and have some work on my hands. Still waiting for some spray cans but I can start assembling all the models and build the bases.

love the freehand on the banner, and well, the whole command squad. I like how you've added the stripe to the veterans' helmets, makes them pop. The yellow is nice and smooth too.
I envy the nice order of goodies you have, sorry if I missed this, what scheme were you planning to do with the Knight?
Well this weekend was a good weekend for me for painting. I could finish the Titan Crew the 5th Company Chaplain and the 10th Company Sniper Squad. Down below will be some pictures of the finished models. I especially like the Scout Snipers because of the foliage on their camo cloaks. I just love the pose of the Chaplain and the Titan Crewmembers are one of the best sculpts I have ever seen. I'm really hoping to order some more bigger models from Forgeworld in the future especially the Titan models. I also made a start with the Predator and primed all of the components. Still thinking about the weathering and I think I'm going for the dust and small battledamage weathering that I have been doing up till now. Now that I'm typing this I remember that I didn't do any battledamage on the Chaplain so that will need to be done first before I continue on the Predator. i hope to finish the Predator this week. So here are the pictures of the finished models.
5th Company Chaplain:
As mentioned above the battledamage still has to be done on the Chaplain. I completely forgot.
Titan Crew:
10th Company Sniper Squad:
He has his camo cloak rolled up again so I tried to make it like he was moving up to confirm his kill (the dead Eldar).
I think this is one of my favourite models of this squad. His kneeling position targeting through the tall grass. Waiting for the right opportunity to strike.

Yeah me too. It's allways a daunting task when you see all the boxes piled up but it'll come together just fine. Just have to try and not buy any new models for a while.

Thank you very much for the nice comment. I have the upgrade kit from Forgeworld for my Imperial Knight Titan from House Terryn. The blue will contrast great to the yellow. Was first thinking of House Hawkshroud but then everything would be yellow and well I want to paint some other colours as well. I bought the Imperial Knight Companion and there are some really awesome pictures of formations with the Knights so I think it will not stay with just this one.

After a week of work on the Predator he's finally ready. I've been using the Army Painter Dessert Yellow primer. But it is a dark yellow and I need a brigher one so I'm gonna try the other yellow to see how that one is. I also build and primed the first devastator squad and a razorback. I got my powersword arm in for my captain which Forgeworld send after I rang them up cause it was missing. Very good customer support. So here are some pictures of the Predator.

Thank you very much. The recipe for the yellow: Basecoat of Averland Sunset. Then all the recesses get a coat of Agrax Earthshade. Fix all the little incorections up with Averland Sunset. Then use a thinned layer of Yriel Yellow. Use this paint for aboout 3 coats. Then the top parts get a coat of Flash Gitz Yellow. Also use thinned down paint and use 2 coats of this. Then a white edge highlight on the top parts.

Thank you. I was first thinking I overdid the weathering but standing next to the dreadnought and the marines it looks good.
I won't be painting for a week or so cause I've had some bad news and have to work some things out before I feel good again to get going on the Fists. So hopefully I'll speak to you soon.
So after a long while I took back what was long overdue and that was an update on Dakka. I've been making some videos for my youtube channel and as of late been getting back into things.
So first what is up with the fists. The Imperial Fists are back on track and allmost all models are assembled. I hope to complete everything over the weekend and then get everything primed.
When this is done and all models are primed I will do a little update points wise and maybe some guys could help me getting a list together for a 1000 points game.
I've been painting a tactical squad but I can't seem to get them finished. Everytime a little bit gets done and then I'm done with them and I start assembling some more guys.
Luckily the first five are done and only need decals, weathering and base work.
A list of things that have been done since last update.
-Assembled:
40 Tactical Squads
10 Terminators with Thunderhammers and Stormshields.
