I like the first list better, as Lvl 4 spellweaver is WAYYYYY better than a level 2. Depending on what lore you choose, I would generally switch to Hagbane Tips instead of trueflights as you don't have a very shooty list, might as well put more wounds output before your dragons get in combat. 32 trueflight shots won't do much against high toughness army and anyway, your glade guards should not be moving so only long range and possible cover to mess you up. Hint : don't shot what's in cover... go dragon them up!

I am also afraid your list lacks a unit or 2 to take care of chaff... you don't have enough shooting to deal with all the chaff. I would definitely add a Wild Rider unit just to clear up those pesky chaff units and concentrate firing the arrows at targets that matter.

but TWO Dragons! lol yeh see what you're saying about hagbane over trueflight. eagles and waywatchers are pretty good chaff clearers though right? and i have a unit of wildriders already don't want to get any more.

I would not use eagles to clear chaff as you need them for taking car of war machines that can be a lot of trouble, waywatchers are excellent troubleshooters. I shoot heavy armor, cavalry if they have any with it but if there's nothing too heavily armored that you need off the board, yes they can remove chaff.

My mistake, I didn't see you already had a Wild Rider unit in your list... so yeah... all good
