HQ- Interrogator Chaplain in Termi armor with Lions Roar
DW Comm squad w/ DW banner, 4 TH/SS, plasma cannon
Librarian on bike w/ force axe
RW comm squad x5 w/ banner of fortitude and grenade launcher
Techmarine w/ auspex and PFG
Command Squad w/ 5 melta guns and banner of devastation in a drop pod w/ locator beacon

Troops- 2x 10 man squads w/ p. Gun and p. Cannon in drop pod

Heavy- devastators w/ 2 Lascannon and a flakk ML
Land speeder vengeance

I'm debating where to put the locator beacon. I think dropping the tac squads first, then HQ squad w/ banner in subsequent turns is best. Then I can drop meltas and have the two tac squads stay in place for Dev banner effect. I'm trying to play fluff and still threatening. Lots of unique plasma and rolling with banners galore. The techmarine is just to try and add durability to comm squad. This also has drop pods with obj secure and possibly 4 mobile pbj secure squads. So I think obj won't be a set back.

Any thoughts?

- Int Chaplain is a Melee Beast. Play him as one and give him THE MACE.

- Plasma Cannons are somewhat bad on Termies. You can get these cheaper with Tac's.

- Libbys on Bikes usually don't want to strike last since you can't take the hits as well- but that is a matter of preferenance.

- Banner of Fortitude usually is very hard to make efficient use of. Consider taking an Apothecary instead.
Only one Banner is allowed per CAD - so your list isn't legal.

- Don't mix your heavy weapons on Devastators - makes them shizophrenic. Also, Flakk Launchers are really expensive and not good at all

- The Vengeance is a joke. It blows itself up more often than not and is way to expensive for AV11 2HP.

Any thoughts? The list is illegal.

DA codex page 91:
You may only include one Sacred Standard per army.

So no fortitude and devastation together.

A Protoss colony world

I would drop the LS Vengeance for a Predator (weapons to your personal taste) or perhaps a Vindicator. They don't blow themselves up (but the enemy might do that for you). Use the points you save from dropping one of the sacred banners to take a 4th special weapon on your devastators, and make them all the same weapon. Also, I agree with Thairne and would recommend you give the Interrogator the relic mace instead of lions roar. I know I'm somewhat of a noob at this game still, but this is what I would do.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Ahhhh thank you guys! I was using the Fort banner to support others, but it's illegal. Thank you!

K, was able to drop Fort banner and give apothecary to all 3 HQ's and roll with RW banner. I feel like RW banner I should have more bikers...

My main issue with going mace on Int Chap, is utilising Split Fire and already having a +2S weapon, but the Apothecary can split fire now, so I can hit armor with p. Cannon and Storm bolter another unit to assault.

I've never played the LS Vengeance lol it looks so cool and the idea of DS in and large blast a unit right there. I was mixing a single flakk with las so I have a BS AA shot and a BS5 AT and its all the AA I have haha

The Libby axe is for ID on 2+ models.

Also, my meta plays a lot of Tau and I know I'm going to get some wreckage first turn if im in LOS...any major input about Tau?

Interrogator chaplain needs the MoR. Also, plasma cannons are pathetic vs armour. The best weapons for terminators are in most cases the assault cannon or the CML.

Plasmacannons in drop pods don't work very well, as they cannot shoot then they land. A combi plasma for the sergeant might be better.

Standard of devastation on infantry models is not a good way to use it. For the same reason that grav guns are awesome on bikes, but very mediocre on units without relentless.
Take more bikes with it, or don't take it at all.

Never take flakk missiles. They will never kill a flyer, and are a huge waste of points. Personally I don't like devastators, but if I did take them then it would be with the same weapons, and inside a fortification.

Landspeeder vengeance is one of the worst units/models in the entire codex. There is no way around this. It is 60-70 points overcosted.

Vs tau your best friends are landraiders (LRC or spartan assault tank imo), PFG, and bikes.

Tau heavy anti tank firepower is limited, and the only real danger to a venerable landraider is fusion squad - but they have to get close. Use the landraider to block LoS to most of your army, and attack the enemy piece by piece, whilst limiting damage to yourself.
The PFG is good inherently, but against tau it is nice because they have no way of removing it, as they do with cover saves. Keep its effect on the landraider or front squad memebers and your army will go much further.
Bikes are powerful against tau because they are fast, so can reach and roll them up quickly.

Standard of Dev works really well with standard RW bikes because they're relentless and will always have the 4 shots... twin linked! You really want the banner mounted on a RW command squad to have the speed to stay among the other bikes, which gives you the twin linked plasma talons too, so no need for a single shot combi plasma.

Plus having a LRC in there gives you a not too shabby 12 twin linked bolter shots from each sponson. Putting DW knights in there is normally a scary proposition for most armies. Or DW command sq with banner to keep with the theme.
