What do you do when someone deep strikes your guns away and then flys several stormravens In the next turn and just starts killing each squad all in a row? I suppose you'd be ok in obsec because they wouldn't kill you fast enough but I don't know if this is truly an "all comers" list

You are absolutely right. Orks have problems with flyers anyway. And that is a no win scenario or very difficult at the least. The Traktor kannons would be set up as two separate units at opposite ends of the deployment ideally. I'm also looking at taking the second Warboss out and putting in some Tankbustas instead. If you have any suggestions though that would be great.

I haven't run the ork tide yet so I'm short on suggestions but I'll ask some buddies of mine that have experience for some insight and try to get back to you

The Green Tide formation is typically considered better. You have the models already, I can't think of a single reason you would run the Warband formation over the Green Tide (available in the Ghazzy's Suppliment).
Pros:
-- The standard list would give you a 5+ FnP across 102+ models.
-- Typically boosted by Fearless for everyone, 2+ strength (via Weridboy) or +1 WS with Da Lucky Stikk (on a CAD Big Mek or CAD Warboss)
-- The entire formation counts as 1 unit. Your opponent can't get any Kill Points until the entire unit is killed.
-- You get to Waaagh! every turn after the first.
-- Anything which touches the tide is typically destroyed.
-- You can cover enough of the board to actually stop fliers and FMC as they'll have no place to land effectively.

Cons:
-- You can only capture one objective at a time (although you can just use Deffkoptas to capture them. They're fast enough to really benifit the orks in Malestorm missions).
-- You're typically being forced to multi-charge. Although locking multiple units of your opponents into combat might not be a bad thing
-- Your warboss HAS to challenge and accept challenges. If he dies, you loose your multiple Waaaaghs! and the Big Bosspole (giving everyone fearless). But you just keep him to the middle/back of the 100 boys to avoid combat.
-- Barriage weapons are a whore against this list.

There are lots of army lists on the forumns which detail the formation (i've commented on most of them). And the formaiton fits nicely into 1850 points, which is more reasonable for 2000 pts. Your list doesn't really seem suited to that level. You really need Tankbusters. Meganobs and KMKs are awesome too. KMKs and Lobbas are better than Traktor Kannons as if you ain't facing against someone with fliers, then the guns a waste of points and effectiveness (not an "all commers weapon. Lootas are in this regard as they have more flexability over what they can shoot at).

Also, with how many grots you have, it might be worth looking into an ADL with a Quad Gun, just so your Grots have something to do.

30 Orks by Foot.
17-20 in a Battlewagon.
12 in a Trukk.

I want offical rules for the Super-Ork that the Mad Dok is working on...

OK thanks for your suggestions. I need to really think about this. The list was just made on what I have and I need to consider on what to add to it. If I had the models I wouldn't mind trying out the Bully Boys and the Blitz brigade formations.
