Using a Destroyer Cult and Royal Court in a CAD-
RC- Overlord- warscythe, rez orb, phase shifter
RC- Cryptek- veil
RC- Lord- warscythe, rez orb
DC- Destroyer Lord- phase, shifter, phylactery, rez orb
Immortals x 5
Immortals x 5
Lychguard x 7 sword and board
Wraiths x 6
Wraiths x 6
DC- Destroyers x 6
DC- Destroyers x 3
DC- Destroyers x 3
DC- Heavy Destroyers x 3
So the Lychguard+ RC ended up being more overkill than I intended. Near as I can tell its legal. Two veils and two rez orbs hopefully they will be doing things all game.
The destroyer cult seems like the only no brainer out of our formations. I would like to use it in a Mephrit CAD sometime. Rerolling wounds on our best shooting unit yells winner to me.
Ive always loved wraiths but their formation seems like a pain in the ass. I like the pistols and the whips and would do 3 of each if it was spare points times (yeah right).
Maelstrom ftw.

What is the HQ for your CAD? Is the DLord just there to tank for the 6 man destroyer unit, in which case get him the 2+ save. The Red Orbs are probably not worth it.
Also what do you mean by using formations in a Mephrit CAD? Formations can't be part of a CAD each detachment should be distinct (except in a Decurion which is a detachment made up of formations). Also the CAD is not available to the Mephrit you have to use the Mephrit detachments to get their rules.
DSing the Lychguard? They have no ranged shooting but you need a way to get them across the board, I could see 1 Res Orb being useful here. Perhaps drop 1 of these guys to get who coils on all your Wraiths, I5 is very useful.

The codex says that a model can take one relic, it doesn't say one per army

Top of page 118 - "Only one of each of the following relics may be chosen per army." You can only run a single Orb of Eternity, unfortunately.

Quick correction - Resurrection Orbs aren't Relics, so you can run multiples of them. My fault for forgetting that there are two versions of the Orb in the new book.

Yeah so your right it's currently illegal, all my characters and none of them fill the basic hq slot. I'll have to drop the royal court.
The Destroyer Lord.is because you have to have one for the destroyer cult formation which is letting all my destroyers reroll to wounds.
For the Mephrit cad thing, you take all your troops and min stuff and then add the destroyer cult to it. Seems the only good way to load up on fast attack choice. It's not part of its in addition to.

You might find it easier if you list your army by detachment then by unit. That way it is easy to see what is in each detachment so things like that don't get missed.
And no you can't have a Mephrit CAD. If you want to use the Mephrit rules you have to use one of the Detachments from Exterminatus, you can't use the generic rulebook or Necron ones.

Ok people drop the Mephrit thing I was talking about in a different list sometime I would use a Mephrit army with destroyer wing attached.
To fix the list I'd drop the Lord and 2 destroyers and 5 whips. Automatically Appended Next Post: Drop the Lord to take 2 destroyers and 5 whips
