I recently went digging through a bunch of "old" (metal) models that my friend gave to me since he was running out of space in his hobby cupboard and I found a rather strange Space Marine character (it was in a plastic bag so I couldn't identify the model's name). It's basically a space marine wielding a chain-mace (which is basically a chainsaw with kind of a big long handle for swinging) and he's wearing a big cape with two eagle wings. Sadly I couldn't find any batteries in the house so I couldn't post a photo here but does anybody know at all what this HQ model is?

Aye. That's the man.

Strangely though... Never thought he was Blood Angel so I just painted him as a Dark Angel. Thought it looked weird.

Blood Angel Successor Chapter, he's the Chapter Master. He's actually a Lord of War now in the new BA codex. Flesh Tearers are a pretty fun army if you have the urge to collect based on the one model. Less Assaulty than the Blood Angels because of fluffy Detachment buffs but can be played as normal Blood Angels too in Flesh Tearer colors.

Also has a major role in the recent Shield of Baal campaign book - despite previous "issues" he and his Chapter and the Adepta Sororitas fought side by side against the Tyranid masses and survived!!!
