For some odd reason, I keep thinking pLylth and Kaelyssa have stealth when I play them. I passed on like three different boosted damage shots during a recent team game against both casters because I thought they would auto-deviate. And this isn't the first time I've done it (with either caster!)
Anybody else giving certain casters/locks more credit than they are due?

It's a game of open information next time ask your opponent if the model has stealth. There are no secrets

I've been playing for a long time. Long enough to know the stats/abilities of hundreds of models. Not my point.
My point was is there a caster/lock (or even a model) you frequently ascribe an ability to, that you know somewhere in the back of your mind, it doesn't actually have.

I usually have the opposite problem; I leave things too close together and then Butcher3 shows up and one-rounds three heavies because I didn't remember he could do that.

I can definitely see getting p and e Lilith's abilities mixed up. eLilith has Shadow Pack, so yeah she's gonna be stealthed. And pLilith isn't as popular and the models look very similar.

To be fair, how often does airburst ever get used or is actually useful?

It's basically a small AoE Ground Pounder right? As a Convergence player I know how much I love ground pounder shots... being able to just put a template where you want it can be great.

Pretty much, plate template anywhere and it takes a pow 8 hit ignoring pretty much everything.
My point was, that it is so niche, that it's easily forgotton about until it bites you in the face.

One of my regular opponents constantly forgets the Stealth rule and gives it far more credit/respect/fear than it deserves. So much so that he'll not even attempt to charge something that has Stealth as he thinks he can't!
(I do tell him he can though! )

I've played a lot of opponents who get this into their head. I think it's the no charge + Stealth feats that give people this impression.
Though I did run into a player recently who thought Synergy, as long as it was upkept, carried the cumulative benefit over turn to turn. He was getting like Mat16, P+S 29 free strikes with Ciphers!

It deletes infantry like nobody's business. Its not always useful, but when it is its very useful.

It does however increase (and then reset) during your opponents turn as well, so you are getting Free Strikes it can sometimes get some use.

Devouts building synergy on defensive strikes is funny.

Not me, but my opponents usually think that Widowmakers have stealth and therefore don´t shot them. Can´t really complain about that.

True, but their defense can get high rather quick making them not worth wasting the shots.
