This thread has become the Menhir Games official News and Rumors communication space, which will be updated periodically.

Since the 28mm Champions line is done, we are going to focus on sculpting troops for the factions of Menhir Games fantasy setting.

The models poses/features are beign designed to be "mouldeable" in solid/steel moulds to produce them in plastic in the future. For this reason they wont have THAT many details as if they were going to be casted in metal or resin; however, the first releases will be in metal since, as we all know, it is a cheaper way to start producing the miniatures


Also, please have in mind that in MG (menhir games) we decided to choose the 1/72 SCALE for our main line of massive battle/troops miniatures line, while some models -popular/modular ones- will be made also in the famous 1/58 - 28mm scale.

But, 1/72 is where we will focus!

The gigantic painted pics really aren't doing the miniatures any favours. I would recommend shrinking them down to something more approximately the size of the actual miniatures.

I have to agree with insaniak. You might also consider trying to find a pro-painter to really highlight the quality of the models. Not to be mean but those are caked in paint pretty badly and a lot of detail is lost.

They werent (removed pics) finished yet, but yes, the big size of images didnt helped. thanks for pointing that out.

Do you think you might be offering any of the first set of figures as possible add ons?

Wanted to get the Naga last time and forgot to pledge.

I too vote to see about getting a high quality paint job or two to show off.

Looks interesting. Are all of these models one-offs? Any plans to expand the existing lines or anything like that?

My current plan is making one off each faction, in 28mm, have a representation of each faction and then start making the proper units.

For now the next would be making resing/metal creatures, and in the future, the troops in plastic kits.

Hello people, and actual backers of the current campaign.

I decided, as investment, to print the first 3 miniatures stretch goals no matter if they are not actually unlocked , this way you will be able to choose more different miniatures plus the 7 models unlocked in the previous campaign.

However the "stretch goal tree" keeps the same for the rest of freebies and the 2 last models.

Hello! I bring renders and prints for future releases (that we aim to finance with kickstarter)

First of all, i have renders of characters for the Set 3 of the Champions from around the world, which will consist of 8 miniatures, ending the line of heroes with a total of 21 models, each one representing a different faction of the Menhir Games fantasy world "Magrieb":

Anura champion for "Rusalki" faction, inspired by slav/russian mythology

Hello!, i have images of a coming kickstarter prototypes and renders to make a Dark ages outpost for 28mm scaled minaitures.

The idea is to make a plastic set of tower, gate and palisade. The tower consist of 7 parts ( 4 walls, 2 flors and 1 torch), while the gate consist of 10 parts, but once you glue most of them, you will have 4 parts to make a functional gate (the 2 doors, the wood lock and the frame)

First of all, the renders with some miniatures that will be made in metal for the campaign ( plastic as well, but for another ocassion):



If all goes as planed, we aim to launch the campaign in first days of september.

There will be plastic low-stone-wall streatch goal and metal miniatures (the ones from the renders and 2 more are coming) as addons.

I will update any new adition to the future KS!

A little modular fort like that could be a lot of fun.

Reminds me (in a good way) of those old battle sets of toy soldiers when I was a kid. Lot of play value in a piece like that.

Yes the idea is making them fit not only tabletop games and wargames, but also "toy games",

They will be resistant strong HIPS pieces "for all ages"

This reminds me a lot of Tehnolog stuff but 28mm instead of 32mm. Hope the KS goes well

THIS tower at least no, it is a small watchtower, and the inside space is 26mm .. but depending how the KS go, we can make a bigger version a proper wood tower..

Shame, no use for darklands then. Oh well.
