Hello ladies and gentleman, I'm returning to the hobby after a long period of time and decided to pick up Dark elves

At the moment just throwing this around and seeing what i can come up with

so wizard in one of the Crossbow units to shoot stuff, master in one of the dark rider units to deal with any warmachines or monsters and for flanking charges, warhydra to flame hoards like slaves and low toughness units

I would recommend more bolt throwers, they are amazing and can destroy ranks better then the hydra at times. I am experimenting dropping the hydra all together and throwing in more bolt throwers since DE can take 4 in an army.

Drop the Chill Blade from the master. Up the steed to a peg and give him a lance and the cloak.

Give the level 2 dark.

Drop the hydra. Get musicians, standards, crossbows and shields on the dark riders. Get another bolt thrower with the remaining points.
