so i recently decided to try my hands at converting some sisters
right now i dont have anything i can use as the bodies but i will start on the legs

i pointed the feet, and added the robes to a pair of tau legs

i also decided the first one will carry a lasgun
i used dark eldar arms with the las gun, and cut up a bolt pistol to make this guy

i still need to fix up the arm rest, and the grip with green stuff

i have a back half of a chest that might work... but i would have to green stuff the front

Certainly ambitious to use Tau parts, though they may end up giving a decent scale to the model. What are you going to use for a torso?

One of the biggest problem with Sisters conversions is that the weapons always end up looking ridiculously oversized in their hands. Especially when making then with parts from the slimmer kits like Dark Eldar and Tau. And that's saying something given the fact that 40K weapons are already ridiculously oversized.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

well im still a bit stumped on the torso front, well i have a general idea, i just dont know were the bit came from
i have this back half of a torso, im trying to figure out what fantasy model it came from, the shoulder pads are the right shape, and they fit nicely on the tau legs
iit depends on what the front half looks like since i dont possess it, but one scenario involves surgically removing male breasts and upgrade them to female breasts

that is one of the reasons i chose the bolt pistolit took the place of the dark eldar stuff without increasing the size
if this test model turns out i will try my hands at a bolter, i'll figure a way to make it sleeker than a SM bolter
