I hope that this time I post in the right sub-forum...

While trying to build a Circle of Orboros warband with strong desert teme (shameless promo for a blog - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/583371.page) I've come face to face with the light infantry problem. While druids wear believably light clothing, and I am OK with an occasional "lord" miniature that wears fur (Morraig), Wolves of Orboros look decidedly overdressed for my purposes, both old and new models -

I would like to replace them with some spear-wielding Bedouins or Arabs, like those found in SAGA -

The main question is the scale - I couldn't find a good scale comparison between those and Privateer Press miniatures. Could someone help me by providing the reference image of these Arabs or any other plastic SAGA infantry next to some light infantry from Hordes/Warmachine?

Thanks!

I thought Saga was on a little bit smaller scale. But I've never really seen the models in person so not sure.

But I thought I would warn you and say that you may have issues with using saga models straight. IMO you should at least use some of the Wolves' parts like the spears and maybe add some greenstuff wolf furs or something appropriate to the desert.

Don't get me wrong, I love conversions and good counts as models, but make sure you check with your regular gaming group before you lay down a saga army as a WM/H army. I for one hate keeping track of all that.

Saga models are slightly too small. Plus the wolves aren't terribly dressed for the desert. You'd actually want to cover yourself to protect from the sun.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Just remember to use pink as part of any camo (one of the best colours for desert camo, if not the best).

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.
