Hi Everyone. Have "little" collection of goblin miniatures from early 90-s to new ones(such as Arachnarok and so on) that I have not played for a long time.
So, here is my 1000 point starter army list. What do you guys think? Standard of Discipline should help out with low goblin Ld. Lore of Undeath is great for Night Goblin shamans (really, cheapest wizards and also having free "power dice" working with Undeath lore as well as with their own Little Waagh). Other entries is quite standart, I thought.

Goblin Warboss (GW; LA; Talisman of Preservation; Ironcurse Icon) @ 124.0 Pts
Night Goblin Big Boss BSB (GW; LA; Standard of Discipline) @ 76.0 Pts
Night Goblin Shaman (Magic Level 2; Undeath) @ 85.0 Pts
Night Goblin Shaman (Undeath; Ruby Ring of Ruin) @ 75.0 Pts

30 Night Goblins (FCG; Netters; 2 Fanatic) @ 215.0 Pts
30 Night Goblins (FCG; Netters; 1 Fanatic) @ 190.0 Pts
20 Night Goblins (Mus; Shortbow; 1 Fanatic) @ 95.0 Pts
5 Goblin Wolf Riders (Spear; Shield) @ 60.0 Pts

1 Doom Diver @ 80.0 Pts

Models in Army: 94
Total Army Cost: 1000.0

Any suggestions?

Poor goblins, no one wants to comment. :(

It sound like a really fun list, I'm actually interested in why you have two fighting goblin bosses

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

Finally, first reply. Thank you.
But what's wrong with two bosses? Too little? Or vice versa? Your suggestions on this? Anyway, both taken to help with Ld, primarily.
By the way, I decided that Undeath is better fits in gunline-oriented list, so I made a few changes.
Updated list:

Goblin Warboss (GW; Talisman of Preservation) @ 116.0 Pts
Night Goblin Great Shaman (Undeath; Ruby Ring of Ruin) @ 165.0 Pts
Night Goblin Big Boss BSB (LA; Shield; Standard of Discipline) @ 74.0 Pts

30 Night Goblins (FCG; 2 Fanatic) @ 170.0 Pts
20 Night Goblins (Shortbow; Musician; Fanatic) @ 95.0 Pts
20 Night Goblins (Shortbow; Musician; Fanatic) @ 95.0 Pts
5 Goblin Wolf Riders @ 50.0 Pts

Spear Chukka @ 35.0 Pts
Spear Chukka @ 35.0 Pts
Doom Diver @ 80.0 Pts
Rock Lobber @ 85.0 Pts

Models in Army: 86
Total Army Cost: 1000.0

I think I can even change chukkas for something like Lvl1 Shaman with Little Waagh or Mangler squig maybe.

On such a small scale, 2 Spear Chukkas aren't going to accomplish much. I would ditch them, if I were you.
Either take another pack of Wolf Riders or get a Mangler Squig. The former is a pretty reliable chaff unit, but psychologically far less intimidating and has a smaller damage output; meanwhile, the latter is wildly unreliable and is guaranteed to be killed within two shooting phases, but that means fewer attacks directed towards your dudes, and if it somehow reaches the enemy line, your opponent is in for some 3d6 S6 fun.
Taking 2 lords in a 1000 pt. list might not be the most cost-efficient plan. Since you seem pretty intent on using a Great Shaman for the Lore of Undeath, you could swap out the Warboss for not one... but *two* Big Bosses with GWs (1 normal goblin to be your general, 1 night goblin to surf the spear-bus). They'll add some punch to their units and spread out the points, so that there's less of a gamble. LD may be an issue, so Standard of Discipline is a must for your BSB.
I hope that this helps some. I'm a pretty new Night Goblin player, myself.

The two fighting bosses seems odd, I'm coming from a Lizardmen background to be honest here, and the goblin warbosses are reminding me of Skink characters, so I'm coming from there. I'm seeing goblin bosses in a similar way to the Skink Warchiefs, which are kind of terrible. It just makes sense to put those points into more priests for more magic, so I'm thinking of it like that

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

Well, good point on heroes, youidiotkid. To be honest I just forgot that warboss and great shaman both lord choices, lol.
Also, big shaman is not mandatory, so I can easily swap him with two little shamans (2 and 1lvl+fireball ring). Anyway two shamans seems to be more reliable than one.
updated list:

Goblin big boss (GW; 4++ talisman)
Night goblin BSB (Standard of Discipline; Shield)
Night goblin boss (GW)
Night goblin shaman (undeath 2lvl)
Night goblin shaman (undeath 1lvl; ruby ring of ruin) - maybe take hiim waagh lore instead of undeath?

30 NGs (FCG; 2 fanatics)
2*20 NGs (bows; 1 fanatics; musician)
5 wolf riders

Lobba
Doom Diver
Mangler Squig

FakeBritishPerson, oh yes, i hear you. Goblin heros not a good fighters, your truth, but they are cheap! 34 points for GW big boss with 3At 6str - not the worst addition to NG unit. Most people take 5 of them or so, to form a full rank, which gives 15 str6 attacks. Not so bad, I think.)

Actually, having multiple Big Bosses with GWs is almost a requirement in full-Goblin armies. Ideally, in larger-point games, every spear-bus should have two of them, one for each front corner. They give you two S6, WS 4 attacks, force your enemy to allocate wounds-which keeps your bus up and running for longer-and a slight LD boost, and some space for magic items, at 34 points apiece (or 36 with light armor). They aren't used as 'heroes' as much as they are used as augmentations for Night Goblin regiments, who don't have much offensive capability as-is. Once you've got netters and a suitable number of fanatics, Big Bosses are the next 'upgrade' of sorts.

Edit: Looks like Oddgit's already got it down.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
If there's one recommendation I could make, it's to give your BSB some magic armor (or at least light armor), because you *need* that LD re-roll. For your second Shaman's lore, either one works. Undeath might be helpful for concentrating your casting efforts on spooky things, but the Lore of the Little Waaaghh! can be useful for buffing your troops and annoying the everliving gak out of your opponent.

Thanks for your reply. Especially for a detailed explanation of how and why to use NG big bosses. My english isnt good enough for such long and detailed posts I think.

BSB cant wear any magic armour because of Std of Discipline. For LA I just have no points, last list I posted is 1000 points on the dot.

Well, it seems I need to paint lots of undead minis now, lol.

Have fun painting up a ton of skeletons. Tell me how the list does, when you get the chance. Maybe I'll give it a shot, too.
