Infamy Miniatures has opened their 'black market' shop to allow people to get hold of minis that were available at Salute (and will then not be seen till 2016)

http://www.infamyminiatures.com/shop/

about 8 hours left to shop

They have also said

Anyone who buys (or has bought) a card deck will get a free Kickstarter exclusive Hannah Mullet mini if they back the card Kickstarter coming in the second half of 2015!

so there is another KS planned

(which is why I though this was worth of expanding out of the Salute Thread)

Yes, I snagged the new leaping version of Outis - I actually think it looks much better than the KS exclusive version (that I pledged for) and will ship sooner!

I was a bad man (and because my planned trip to salute didn't come off) and got the 'Ton'

I probably wouldn't have got it all otherwise, but with unspent trainfair, and a generous discount it seemed the thing to do

(I really want to paint the flower girl and the tesla bust)

The first KS is set to begin shipping in late June (about 70% of backers should be able to be fulfilled)

with second group finishing it off as the slightly delayed stuff finishes up casting/painting etc

so I'd guess we'll be seeing stuff on general sale after this possibly August/September time?

Well gak. I thought this was going to be on all weekend. I was out of town this- Saturday, logged in when I got home today, and the thing was closed.

A little irritated about it as someone that even backed the original IndieGoGo.

Orlando, do you know when the Black Market models are supposed to ship? I'm surprised at the delay with how they billed it...

my black market stuff shipped either last Thursday or Friday (it arrived on Saturday) and that seems to be when the other folk who've reported arrivals had theirs put in the post too,

(it looks like Element Games may have handled the postage but I threw out the box without registering who'd sent it)

but there was no email or tracking so I suspect yours is on the way

that sound worrying (I've seen a few reports of US arrivals, Alabama was mentioned by one poster around the 28th-30th May in the Infamy Facebook Group)

I'd reach out to James via the contact form on the infamy site even if it is just to say you think you might have a problem but are willing to give it another week or 2 to arrive

Received the model today, and man, it was worth every penny! Excellent sculpt, flawless resin cast (although a lot of little gates to clip off). I'm extremely pleased with it

I'll have to have the first KS in hand before I consider a second, but my lord do I love some of these models.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

KS Phase 1 (most small pledges and anybody with a large pledge who has paid for split shippin) going out soon

from facebook

I shouldn't really moan, but putting Kickstarter pledges into boxes before taking them over to Element Games - Wargaming Webstore for shipping next week is not the most fun job.

All seems to have gone quiet on the Infamy front. Anybody order from the Blackmarket store and actually receive something? I ordered a model about a month ago and nothing, not even an update. I've also noticed that there have been no update emails or anything posted on Facebook. Not looking to good at the moment.

I feel confident the minis will ship - he has a ton of them already proced, and I think was only waiting on a few more to be finalized. The rules aren't done, so maybe he's focused on that. It is essentially a one man show with a bit of help from his friends. I think his communication is lacking, but this doesnt look like its just going to fold up shop and run.

I received Phase 1 KS miniatures awhile back, I think a few weeks ago if I recall. I however did not order from the Blackmarket store so I don't have an answer there. Have you already emailed them?

I got all the salute black market stuff without any issues,

I didn't order from the more recent show release window, but I've seen a couple or reports of arrivals in the facebook group

(but also some reports on emails not being replied to as James basically said he's been to busy to do so... but obviously we can't tell if they were emails that could have been replied to quickly or would have taken ages)

James posted in the KS comments about a week ago

Creator Infamy Miniatures on August 31

Folks, I've been very busy. Apologies for going radio silent for a bit of time. I've been working hard and doing everything I can to make progress despite a lack of communication to you. I utterly appreciate that silence isn't great for backers and I've always done my best to keep you all informed, so perhaps it is more concerning when it happens! I'm caught up with all of the emails and message communication now after blitzing through it today, having knowingly left it unattended for a while. Much as that pained me it was somewhat important for me to just zone in on where I'm at, get things in place in my head, and put the other things around on hold for a little while. I know that's not great but as the sole person working on this directly it gets fairly heavy sometimes and I can't rely on other employees to cover when I need to shift my focus.

In a nutshell - as far as shipping goes things are in a better place than they were last update and should continue to improve from here. Various problem areas are now dealt with and I'll report details in an update by the end of the week (when I should have the next shipment of casts here). I will be in a position to get plenty more pledges out the following week.

so reading between the lines there seem to have been some issues in getting casting in, and James has been otherwise busy

That's fair enough and it's great if he's busy due to it being successful, but sticking a line on FB or just a line in an email would help to let people know all is ok.

I see that he has posted on FB. He has been caught up with a ton of other things and being ill. So good news that he's feeling a bit better.
