Gonna pick up the Khador half of a battle box for cheap tonight. Considering going after the all-in-one afterwards. Got some questions:

1. I've read Khador is an infantry heavy faction, which I LIKE! Is the all-in-one savings based on largely redundant Jacks, given I will already own the battle box jacks?

2. I want WGI, and wouldn't mind some IFP and/or WGR in my force eventually. Do the elements from the all-in-one support those other infantry units?

3. Am I correct that the battle box gives me non-epic Sorscha, and the all-in-one gives me epic Sorscha? (eSorscha?) Are the models interchangeable, or is proxying versions of a char with other versions of the char frowned upon?

Thanks!

Also: Are the rules in the all-in-one more substantive than the pdf quickstart rules available from PP? Should I factor that into my financial decision?

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

The All-in-one has better jacks, so I would get it. You'll have options with both, you won't use all of them at once but options are good.

The Spriggan is the jack 90% of khador lists use(that aren't running Beast-09, Ruin, or Behemoth) The Devastator is a good choice as well.

Kovnik Joe supports both WGI and WGRC equally so you'll be able to run either(or both). He does nothing for IFP, they want Iron Fang Kovniks.

As for the Prime vs Epic, yes you do need to use the proper model. Most Epic and Prime versions have very different rules and even equipment. Sorsha is mostly an exception as she is really just posed differently, but you should still use the proper model. You wouldn't want to win a game because your opponent saw you had the Prime Sorscha model, but forgot you were proxying for epic Sorscha.

Ayanna and Holt are a good support module in general. Being able to drop armor by 2 or hand out magic weapons is amazing and helps everything.

I would make your next purchase after the BB and All-in-one to be a Widowmaker Marksmen. He gives Widowmakers Swifthunter which is very useful for them, and he's a better sniper.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

1. The Spriggian is quite different to the Destroyer and Juggernaut Jacks, very good at popping stealth bubbles. Same for the Demolisher. Out of all four jacks, the Spriggian is probably the best bet.

2. eSorcha is good with IFP, her Iron Flesh can make them very tough to kill. Lady and Holt are a good supporting unit, and will pretty much support anything. Also Kovik Joe's speeches ALSO work on WG Riflemen, not just the infantry.

3. It is frowned upon. You might get away with it in a casual game with friends, but its a big no no in any competitive setting.
