Funny I don't think we've had a thread on this crowd-funding, but a group called Warband Miniatures is doing a line of (not) Sisters of Sigmar called Sisters of Serens.

Resin, seperate weapon hands and heads. Out of Spain.

Pretty pictures:

Very Mordhiem looking

No, spraying three colors on your minis does not count as painted! 5k+

Update, 2 more sisters added.

They're still struggling along at 38%, so if you're interested in either mordhiem or fully-dressed female minis this is a good time to kick in.

Hmm, not enough daggers, clubs, slings, and whips. Pretty sure nothing else gets used in Mordheim ;-).

Very nice, but niche in a niche market. Don't really see this one hitting the goal with 10 days and under 50%. Looks like digital sculpts. Maybe they should see if WGF is interested in expanding their fantasy line?

Those are pretty spiffy. The separate hands is a well thought out detail. But doesn't indigo keep your money if it doesn't fund? That is a pretty big risk.

No this is a Fixed funding campaign where if it doesn't fund paypal refunds your money automatically

(what you're thinking of is the Flexible funding campaign type which indiegogo does indeed allow and you need to be much more careful about funding that you belive the company/person will be able to fulfil if they don't hit their target)

More new stuff.

Shame this campaign isn't doing better, I wonder if the latest Raging Heroes campaign sucked all the air (and money) out of this particular room.

A shame if so, because these look a lot more like actual women, AND actual warriors, than any of the RH stuff.

Meh, I don't think those that bought into the last RH offering were very interested in women that look like they belong anywhere near a battlefield....

I think it has more to do that it is on IndieGoGo more than Raging Heroes. Although they are ok, personally for me though I have more scifi than fantasy based miniatures which they don't really fit in with what I do have.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I really like them, the problems are twofold; they won't scale well with GW models which I already have loads of for Mordheim gaming, and there are too many other things demanding my money at the moment, Mechanicus chief amongst them.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

The original GW models were ugly and put me off the warband, these on the otherhand are great and have completely turned me around on the aesthetic.

Great project, but.... indiegogo.

Great looking figures, otherwise.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

And it's finished at €6,967!

I didn't put in but I'm glad to see companies like this around, here's hoping for some Not-Cromunda goodness in the future.
