Does anybody know if the Ork Mek guns and the Mechanicus Destroyers are similar in size I was thinking of doing a conversion of the destroyers to mek guns. Any insight is appreciated!

You know what they say, size doesn't matter...

Well, now that my dignity is gone we can talk about wargaming! First thing first, Ork weapons varies greatly both in shape and size because the Mekboyz makin' em kan be rael Madd when thaz makin' em. The Mekboyz slab whatever in their minds they believe works so the resulting weapon is rarely the same in dimensions even when two are made by the same Mekboy in a row. So in-universe, some Ork Mek Guns might be larger than a Mechanicus Destroyer Gun, others might not.

On the tabletop though, the size of the gun does affect how likely it's gonna get zapped by barrages. I which case, well, I think by the look of the two's sprues I'd say the Destroyers' hulls are probably smaller than that of the Mek Gunz'. So I guess size does matter...
