I think Adeptus Astartes is strongly favored right now, given that GW's IP rebranding policy has been pointing to that direction ever since they redubbed Imperial Guard to Astra Militarum.

Furthermore, the BA codex saying Codex: Adeptus Astartes is another strong indication.

However, if they really drop Codex: Space Marines then that would:

1) make all the lines in publications referencing Codex: Space Marines invalid

and

2) How will they name the next CSM codex? Would be odd if SM are called Adeptus Astartes while CSM keep the Space Marine as part of their name.

Isn't that the rumored rebranding of CSM?

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Hmmm interesting. Based purely off the BAs, AA seems most likely.

You can protect the "Chaos Space Marines" IP without a name change, but I definitely expect this one to be Codex: Adeptus Astartes. For money reasons, of course.

Tier 1 is the new Tactical.

Don't know if this is relevant here, but the new assault squad appears to be called 'Space Marine assault squad', with ''Adeptus Astartes'' above. Could this mean the book will be Codex: Adeptus Astartes: Space Marines?

I am not sure. So far the only 2 codices to get rebranded in fake latin have been IG/AM and SoB/AS so I think it is still too early to call it a pattern, especially since Imperial Knights just became Codex: Imperial Knights rather than Codex: Biggus Gunnus or something like that.
Than we have the AdMech, whose codices are called by a completely different way. Adeptus Mechanicus: Skitarii and Adeptus Mechanicus: Cult Mechanicus (dropping the Codex: part entirely)
It is possible Space Marines are going to follow the same pattern:
Adeptus Astartes: Space Marines
Adeptus Astartes: Blood Angels
Adeptus Astartes: Space Wolves
Adeptus Astartes: Dark Angels

Personally, I like "Codex: Adeptus Mon-keigh". But I am a bit biased.

As for the Chaos book, something like, "Codex: Hereticus Abominus" would be pretty awesome. Freak out parents when they see THAT book hidden under their kid's bed with a big nasty picture of Abaddon on the front or something.

I'd call this more of a tie than anything else. Sure it's "Space Marines", but it also has "Adeptus Astartes" as the header.
