Made up a list I'm currently still trying out. Buffmander goes with the broadsides, pathfinders stay within 2" of the remote sensor tower and depending on their value--either skyray or Longstrike would stay near the sensor as well.

You're like super afraid of tanks huh?

I think you're too focused on anti amror. I wouldn't not want to try a good daemons or tyranids list with this

Also don't take the command node if you put him with broadsides as they are twin linked and you can't re roll re rolls ever

I would drop the hammerhead and the seeker missiles on the broadsides. Then move the Riptide from the FSE list and the broadsides from the main list and take the firebase support detachment and add in another 3 man squad of broadsides. This will give them all the tank hunter special rule. This I believe will also allow you to take plasma guns on your crisis team instead of fusion blasters.

The talisaman of arthus maloc I find very situational. If you are taking a riptide in fse then for gods sake find the points for the earth caste pilot array, re rolling nova charges is awesome.

Heavy rail rifles although they look super cool are the wrong choice for broadsides. Go high yeild missles, smart Missle systems, seekers are a luxury and should only be added after you have taken care of the other ineffeciencies in the list.

I don't know what the sensor tower does to buff the pathfinders but with tetras in the mix you don't need the pathfinders at all. Drop them and my guess is the sensor tower too.

I think the buffmander is no longer worth the points as your list should rely on volume of fire rather than single shot instant death. Dropping him or at least re tooling him to go with crisis team and trying to get the firebase support cadre in the list is definately the way I would go.

The reason I have a command and control node is not for the broadsides but for the missile drones. The seeker missiles are there to boost the broadsides shots from 3 str 8 shots to 6 albeit 3 of them are ap 3. I have only used this list twice vs a daemon player and an AM/DA/salamanders/inq army and both times I was able to end the game by turn 3. I will try this a few more times until I run across that "good" list/player like you say.

It's definitely sub par. I like to run the firebase cadre kitted out normal riptides stim, ion accelerator, ewo, sms, with the broads all missiles all the time, then I might bring another riptide, and etheral(broadsides feel no pain and anyone else close enough), two kroot squads, probably with hounds, and max out on skyrays with sms.
