What old models would Dakka like to see available to buy? Not just GW, but as many obscure 80's/90's companies as you like.

I personally would love a copy of the unreleased Cadian General. The miniature just oozes personality to me.

I think it would be interesting if GW re-issued the original Rougre Trader Space Marines boxed set at the original price.

I would like to see what modern players would say about such supposedly unsophisticated models that come 30 to a box with optional weapons and wargear, for £10.

Silent Puffin beat me to Epic so;

GW Spear and Bow armed Gobbos from 1987 by Kev Adams.

GWs Judge Dredd range from 1985-86 specifically the Slaughter Margin set. So much more charm than the mongoose ones.

The original range of slotta Chaos Dwarves from '87.

Basically anything from GW circa 1986-1991 when they made a hugely diverse range of models that randomly appeared in whatever time some loon in Nottingham came up with it!

I'd like for the old Confrontation models to be put back into production, especially the Venator Gangers.

Those were some cool looking models.

Squats and Necromunda.

Truthfully, I'm not sure I'd buy any at current GW prices. However, it would make it more likely that they'd show up on the second hand market at more reasonable prices than they currently go for.

I used to pine for the Metal Magic Spacelords line to be re-released. For about a decade there was only a small selection on the EM4 page. However, when they finally were released more widely (starting about a year ago) I had moved on to other interests and sold my collection.

I'd love to see the old-style Ral Partha Hexatrix riders.

The FW Epic/Aeronautica Imperialis/BFG models. Beautiful models that were way better than the "main GW" stuff, but I guess GW was absolutely determined to kill off anything that isn't a "core" game. Also, the old FW terrain pieces. It's much nicer than any of the modern plastic terrain "main GW" makes but it didn't sell well enough to keep it in production (which is a sad comment on how little people value having a nice looking table). I'd love to have easier access to the OOP terrain without having to hope that it someday comes up on ebay at a price that isn't too horrible.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.
