Thanks
I will probably be using these guys more for Kings of War though, but I'll be using movement trays and keeping the round bases just in case. And cuz they look better than squares anyway

Those minis look great! People can say what they want about the AoS game (and most of them are probably right ), but those Stormcast Eternal minis are badass! Subscribed, eagerly awaiting more well-painted minis!

Thanks and yeah I like the gold look GW does and all, but I think these guys look way better when they're different colors, like marines. I'm waiting for someone to finally do an Ultrasigmarines army

I have really been considering these guys as a part of my collection.
Are they much different to painting 40K?

Well they are much bigger models.. so in 40K sizes it would be like painting and army of space marine terminators, and they just get bigger from there. But there is a lot of detail on them and they are fun to build and paint.
I recently picked up that hero guy that comes with the little gryphon pet, so I'll probably do him next since it's just 2 models
I just got the new 4 ground Blacksmith shop, just dropped off today. I think I'll try and do an unboxing & building video

Agreeing with Bottle here, I love the colour scheme you're going with. I don't know if I like the gold next to bone, but the painting quality more than makes up for it!
Also, I need a batrep (KoW or AOS) with those buildings. Is the company just called 4 ground? Cos I need some of those buildings.

Yep, their site is http://www.4ground.co.uk
These are the 28mm Fabled Realms city of Mordanburg buildings. They're great because they are multi level and easy to pop the roof off to move guys around inside.
I got the backstreets and the dockside bundles, and now the blacksmith too. I really want to get the Stoic Arms inn, but that's huge and expensive.. but maybe some day.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh and you can save a bit if you buy the unpainted versions, but I like the pre-painted.. it saves a lot of time and they look great, but they paint with a colored primer I think, so you can easily paint over it or add some weathering if you want. I just left it as is. The dockside buildings were prepainted, but I painted the dockside buildings myself but pretty much the same way, just spray painted the sheets before I built them.
