I like it. The lores of Beasts and Life go really well with Saurus and our big dinosaurs. They need buffs to help them out in combat, but when they do have them they are nasty.

However, I'm not a huge fan of level 1 Beasts Skink Priests. The problem is, you'll want to take the signature spell, Wyssan's Wildform, as it's amazing. However, it has a high casting for a level 1. To get it reliably you'll want to throw three dice at it, and it means less dice for Life spells. I'd suggest dropping one of the priests, making the other a level 2, and giving your stegadons sharpened horns. That way you'll have a Wyssan's you can cast roughly 50% of the time with 2 dice.

You could also try adding in Reservoir of Eldritch Energy to your Slann to give you some extra power dice.

Ok cool, thanks for the suggestions. I had 2 so my Slann could focus through either of them. Also I could upgrade one of them to level 2 and still keep two of them. And what squads should they be put with?

2 priests is two too many imo. Keep one if you really have the need to use him as arcane vassel. Keep in mind that you can only do this with direct damage spells and Life lore isn't really the strongest lore for these type of spells.

Where you should put the priest? Either in a skink unit or on the ancient, in which case you need to upgrade to EOTG. A fun thing with a priest on a steggy is that you can challenge your opponents champs and watch as the stegadon stomps its victim to bits

I don't use skink priests at all when fielding a Slann. Usually the Slann is good all by himself and the arcane vassel, while a nice touch, is risky to pull off since it exposes your priest.

Overall, the lists looks ok, but I would strongly consider a banner or two on your Slann or/and the TG-unit. Don't forget to calculate the BSB onto your Slann, it's one of the major highlights with this guy!

Another fantastic addition could be a cowboy (either a scar-vet or a lord on a cold one, basically unkillable with the right items). This guy is your go-to-guy when it comes to warmachine-hunting.

Remember that winning is normally done by controlling the battlefield, and for that task Lizardmen have skinks. Skinks are godlike redirectors and can setup nice charges for your combat-blocks.

Happy hunting

Ok so I dropped one of the priests, made him level 2 still with Lore of Beasts (mainly to buff a squad of Saurus that'll be going into combat with Wildform and for a dispel scroll)
And I added in a squad of 6 chameleon skinks for warmachines and annoying / harassing tactics. I was considering dropping the Skink Priest for the cowboy setup.. If I were to do that, how would I equip him?

Cheers for the help guys!
