Denmark.

So, Imma creating a Deathwatch team for Kill Team, and I'm beginning to look out interesting models for leader models. I love the IV 'Maximus' armour, and I love cloaks, so naturally I've taken a look at the IV Legion Command set from Forge World - Not only do they have all I love about Marines in one nice little package, their cloaks also cover their left pauldrons, so I won't need to buy more Deathwatch shoulder pads for them.

I am however completely new to Forge World, and I don't know what to do with them. Can I combine FW resin and GW plastic? What glue do I need? Something about that kit I need to know?

Wash your resin models in cool water and dish soap before you prime. Need to remove any left over release agent.
Super glue is what your going to need to put resin models together.
Be careful sanding or filing resin . Wear a mask because the stuff is toxic to your health if your breath it in.

Its just resin.

as above

Wash your models.

Superglue

Pin any fiddly bits

if you are sanding its not because its necessarily toxic it just really bad to have fine particles in your lung.

Watch out for scaling issues too. FW stuff tends to be slightly more realistically proportioned though marine on marine shouldn't be an issue.

The bolters dont always fit GW hand plastics.

Good luck
