SO....I got hold of the Army Book of the Orcs, and yes sure AoS is here and all that business but I know folks who are still interested and I'm kinda in love with all the character designing I can do ((THERE'S A LOT OF HEROES PHEW)) and to have actually tough, strong characters too ((I'm looking at you there Empire!)) so HERE GOES THE RISE OF DA' CROTCH STABBA. I got rather inspired by a certain warhammer youtuber and his spectacular Orc + Goblin Army ((All hail Lord Chickenhead)).
Lords and Heroes: 564
Goblin Warboss: Da' Lord Crotch Stabba
Armour of Destiny
Ogre Blade
Giant Wolf
Shield
Dragonsbane Gem
181
Ead' Gobbo Shaman: Brain Buzza
LV4
Giant Wolf
Talisman of Endurance
218
Black Orc Big Boss: 'Ead Smacka Da' Sturn
BSB Enchanted Shield
Talisman of Preservation
165
Core: 531
39 Orc Big Uns: Da' Bloody Gits
Extra Hand Weapons
Full Command
386
Aye...As mad as it sounds, I do intend to send my only Lord out to smack some 'eads together, hopefully using the nimble movement of my wolf to speed around and SHRED through chaff, warmachines and such (Blame the youtuber I watch, I was inspired!) but of course I'd change out the Lord Crotch Stabbaz's loadout now and then to spice things up! But the purpose of the Gobbo shaman on the wolf? Follow that spider, hope to MORK (Or Gork) it lives, thankfully cannons ain't a big thing here, and just go for the combo of having it flank and smack things REALLY HARD. Gobbos on the other flanks just to kill chaff and scare them away with fanatics. The Big Boss is there to smack 'eads together in case some of da' lads get a little dim y'see? Issues in my list I can see is...The lack of decent shooting, AND anti-armour, definitely, I was tempted by a unit of trolls as well, perhaps three, as I only really have 1 viable combat block ((Which itself is a nasty piece of work churning out all those S4 attacks, S5 in first round!)).

Subject: [1,500?] - Orcs an' Goblins - Rise of Da' Lord Crotch Stabba
Listen up you squigbrain, you needs to make yer boyz fight betta.
Why is dat black orc taking orders from a stinking gobbo?
Black orcs are real spensive like, good for BSB but really only after paying for da general.
Get a real orc warboss, it wont cost much and you can have a decent ld bubble.
Da gobbo boss can carry da BSB, give him spider banner and he can be all sneaky like. Or just keep him chap and hide him.
Brain buzza doesnt need his hungry fleabag unless you take more wolf riders to protect him.
Rest is ok, but can change. Big 'Uns work, I generally recommend choppa and shield.
The nite gobbos are worth their cost, but half the price is for da fanatics. Fanatics are a gimic and dont often work. You would be better off with two units of arrer gobbos and one or two fanatics at most split betweehn them.
One unit of nite gobbos means fanatics, two units means maybe fanatics, it deters flanking.
Ol Gnibbla will work well for you, as will the arty. Though I dont know what you will hope to achieve with one spear chukka, I normally take three (or more).
n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Aye, cheers for tha' dirt on what da' boyz need! Here's tha' new list lads!
Lords and Heroes: 662
Orc Warboss: 'Ead Smacka Da' Sturn
Armour of Destiny
Shield
Choppa of Swift Slaying
Ironcurse Icon
4+, 4++, Gives 6++ to unit against war machines.
197
Goblin Boss: Lord Crotch Stabba
Giant Wolf
Shield
Gamblers Armour
Stabba of Might
Dragonbane Gem
Potion of Foolhardiness
3+, 6++, 2++ against flaming.
101
Ead' Gobbo Shaman: Brain Buzza
LV4
Giant Wolf
Talisman of Endurance
218
6+, 5++
Tactic is to have a LOT of poisoned shots hitting units, forcing them to come forward with the doom diver and the rock Lobba doing the same, whilst the big Uns go forward and slice anything down ((First round should cut down anything with a 4+ save)). Crotch Stabba slaps up chaff and war machines whilst brain Buzza chills with the wolves by Gnibbla, whose objective is to get into the flanks for tasty magic combos, and Buzza could also get in line for some devastating magic!
For future...I'm tempted to get a LV2 Orc or Gobbo shaman for undeath as it seems fun!

Dats betta, but make da boss a regular ork, black orcscost too much for not a lot. Give him Armour of 4++, not talisman so he gets heavy armour, Give him regular shield, and choppa of swift striking. That will work.
Rest of list is good.
Can you give spider banna to a nite gobbo?

Yep! Made them changes and now we have a propa boss an' a troll on tha' side too! And I do believe they can take the spider banna?
Automatically Appended Next Post: If I could make this list up to 2000? I'd likely throw in another troll or two for either a group of three or just individual one. A Lv2 Undeath Gobbo and...Perhaps a small NG unit for the new shaman or just another chaff-smacking Gobbo or Orc (I adore these hero customisations)!

Need moar.
Especially as you havea lot of characters. You could take spider riders instead and take incy mincies for your gobbo characters. At 13pts they are good for 'eight legged infantry'. remember they can garrison structures, ignore terrain etc. Quite versatile, and I suspect your army is Black Pass based anyway.
Spare points, lets use 'em: Moar wolves or incy mincies.

I thought when the End Times came any wizard could take that Lore of Undeath? 0-0
Also I took wolves over spiders since I just prefer them and I wish to convert them with Fenris Wolves! But I just have then that small as just as a bunker for Buzza, an not much else! But I could buff then up maybe for 2000?

SO, considering some further options for a 2,000 point list, and having added some more wolves to sate Orlanth over there, I decided upon some more fun options to toss around, just for the amusement of it all!
What to do with an extra 151 points huh?
1. Well for just the plain ol' laughs: Give a Night Gobbo WarBoss the Wizard's Hat! Almost any other lore is super useful as well, and he's pretty darn durable as well I'd just have to chip off the Ironcurse Icon and should be able to afford it!
2. Give me another two river trolls at 90 points, making a tough units of them fellas that are much more competent! Then with the last 65 points? Well...We've got options. Like I said beforehand, make the LV1 a LV2, leaving us with 40 points, maybe then a dispel scroll and a channeling staff to take up the rest of those points!
3. Make Crotch Stabba's larger, nastier, non-blood brotha, Baron Basha o' Gork, an orc big boss, on a boar, giving a greatweapon, some armour, and a nasty ol' temper! Giving him the Dragon's helm, the potion of foolhardiness for a tougher and nastier cowboy to take the other flank. That'd be 90 points, leaving us with 60 more! What to get? Another River troll and a channeling staff for one of those wizards
Anymore suggestions are welcome, though accepting the cheaper options XD (Not buying LOTS of boxes of stuff >_>

Oh yeah, End Times crap. End Times is a campaign, it is not a permanent overlay over 8th. Up to you but: The post title didnt say End Times, generally with End Times you need to cheese out in order to keep up. Unlocking End Times just to get a different spell list and otherwise keeping to the army book is a bad idea IMHO. Once you unlock End Times you unlock just about everything, I never liked that much, but keeping my advice objective I would still advise against it unless you added other wierdness like ignoring core in favour of multiple 'Rakkies or zombies, or twenty Spear Chukkas or Shades or.... you get the idea.

I would go with option 2 from your list of choices. However for the spare points, I must say I have a soft spot for a Wyvern, for the fun of it. Its a nice model to collect and while having a general on a flying monster is rarely a good idea, you can squeeze a bit and have two orc warbosses.
Your more sensible options are to add more nite gobbo archers, add some spear chukkas (they are very very good for the price), or just boost your existing units.

Bit off topic, but the name of that gobbo warboss made me chuckle. As for the (new) list... I like it, but I don't know the army well enough to comment

Tis fine if ya don't know it well enough, but aye, I came up with the name for two reasons: Goblins are sneaky gits an' wanna get on top no matter how they do it and....They're at the perfect height for dem stabbinz! ;D

I'd drop the wolf on the level 4 and put him in with the archers, then give the wolf to the level 1/2 wizard to put him with the wolves. As-is that wolf unit is worth a lot of points yet doesn't take much firepower to kill off (or at least to put wounds on the wizard). I would try to fit in a dispel scroll, its an ass-saver to be sure. On the end-time topic, lore of undeath is fun but I think Little Waaagh would be better anyway. Given that the orc block is your central unit the warboss may get more mileage from a choppa of anti-heroes than of swift-slaying, but I don't know how many heroes you are usually up against.
Thank ya kindly annnnd ya do have a good point there! I may save the Undeath business for another time, but for now, I'm gonna have a jolly good time with the stuff I'm thinking of doing XD But I'll keep the choppa of swift slaying for now, as people round 'ere vary, but if I know I'm going hero bashing...Anti-Heroes all the way, which, even against 1 hero, is VERY good since I'd get S6 with 5 attacks, making it S7 if it's the first round with the choppa rule, also with armour penetration? That shreds through EVERYTHING I'll also put lists under spoilers to not clog this up XD
Spoiler:
Lords and Heroes: 780
Orc Warboss: 'Ead Smacka Da' Sturn
Armour of Destiny
Shield
Choppa of Swift Slaying
The Other Trickster's Shard
4+, 4++
208
+Black Orc Big Boss : Baron Basha o' Gork
+Enchanted Shield
+Basha of Anti Heroes
+Ironcurse Icon
+130 Points ((482))
+Replace ToE for Talisman of Presevation on the Gobbo Shaman
+15 Points ((497))
+Give Light Armour back to BSB +2 Points ((499))
Basically, the job for the Black Orc Big Boss is for one, to make sure the Big Uns don't get too rowdy AND he's going to be a mean beatstick against blocks featuring heroes...That's because whilst 'Ead Smacka is smackin' dem heroes, Baron Basha is gonna do WHAT HE DOES BEST! BASH STUFF Likely if it's a block with a Lord+BSB then he'll have 5 attacks at S7 First round, which you can't complain about! If there's a mage in there too? EVEN BETTER! > : D Spitta is gonna do a fine job as getting a damn good lore ((Any lore is good for Orcs pretty much)) and just hopefully buff up everyone around him! Manglers? What you expect them to do?! XD

Orcs make very good combat lords. Your only real weakness is Initiative, and Choppa of Swift Striking sorts that out. By the way your warboss is S5 basic and S6 on he first roundof combat due to the choppa rule, not S7.
Dats a lot of points, you need moar gobbo archers to make it worthwhile. I wouldsay about 50-60. Any more d'en that and you 'ave problems due to da short range. 100 nite gobbos with spide banna n' spell for +1 poison means 5+ poison arrow shootin'. Sounds nasty but with large gobbo blocks you get less shots than you think.
Gobbo Shaman: Gnasha Von Grog
LV2
Giant Wolf
Dispel Scroll
117
6+
If ya insist, but ya could do better with two nite gobbo shamen coz dey get 'shrooms to eat. If one dies have a laugh and use da other one. If you get two make Braoin Buzza a real orc and take Big Waargh. Lots of nasty stuf yer can do then.
+Black Orc Big Boss : Baron Basha o' Gork
+Enchanted Shield
+Basha of Anti Heroes
+Ironcurse Icon
+130 Points ((482))
Bloks are good fer crumpin 'eads. But dey cost a lot. So if yer wants a Blork take Grimgor fer da win, or takes a Blork BSB. Grimgor costs a lo but is dead 'ard ; a Blork BSB is tooled up nicely to suvive and coz he doesnt mess around with animosity he is real good at da work of da BSB fer getting da ladz to stick around. It means no spider banna though, but that can be a good thing too. Give a Blork BSB a shield ad a 5++ amulet.
Manglers! I expect dem ta win. Rite stompy they are, or should I say bouncy.

Alright ya git, I get ya damn advice now an' I'm gonna use it! But this list definitely feels a lot tougher, though despite the loss of the spida banner, however I'm sure either of the wizards 'ere will give dem lads there sneaky poisons! But I still wish to use Spitta da Finka for da' random stuffz, who 'ere knows, Finka might get a good 'un, mos' spells are good for da' boyz.
Spoiler:
Lords and Heroes: 750

33 Orc Big Uns: Da' Bloody Gits

EDIT: Also...I changed the list. One, cause I accidentally made two spear chukkas involving A LOT of converting involving Nobz and a couple cannons! (You'll see soon enough!) that will replace the lobba. Two, Crotch Stabba is now a Warboss, and sure...heavily invested in, but he will be a BLAST to play. Literally. Since he'll be blasting out fireballs XD. Just had to tweak a few things, and now only with the one wizard on the wolf now, to save points, and my converted wizard looks pretty sweet!
