WAAAAAAAAAGH!!! ........ I mean, sounds like an appropriate solution to this mess of numbers, your primitive brains are throwing into my system

I really like Necrons, and I really like cheesy lists.
Problem is, I can't find any good site which could deliver me some inspiration for such lists, so I came up with one myself.

Please tell me how you like it, and what I could include to make it even cheesier (something aside from taking multiple choices of some units ofc).

NECRONS 1250(8) pts (Unbound)

HQ
Spoiler:

Destroyer Lord (150pts)
- Resurrection Orb
- Solar Staff

Illuminor Szeras (110pts)
- Warlord

Orikan the Diviner (120pts)

Elite
Spoiler:

2x Triarch Stalkers (250pts)
- Heat Rays

Troops
Spoiler:

9 Immortals (153pts)
- Tesla Carbines

20 Warriors (260pts)

Fast Attack
Spoiler:

Ghost Ark (105pts)

Heavy Support
Spoiler:

2x Canoptek Spyders (110pts)
- Fabricator Claws
---They are two seperate ones.---

Tactic
Spoiler:

First, I should explain the core strategy behind this list.
WARRIORS... that's all. The big 20 Blob is your main focus of interest.

"But how can 20 Warriors be a real threat?" I hear you say, but WAIT there is more to it.

1. Attach all HQ's to your blob.
That alone will give it:
-> +2 to RP rolls (altough this can't be improved above 4+, it will give you a +2 to your roll
for Instant Death as well, upping it to a 4+!)
-> Re-roll failed morale, pinning and fear cheacks, due to szeras being the warlord.
-> Re-roll 1s for Armour saves, due to Orikan (and potentially invuln saves from a chronotek
as well).
-> Gaining +1 S/T/BS, due to Szeras (sadly only one of those :( )
-> Having a strength 8 weapon in it (szeras lance)
-> Having a super beatstick in it (orikan - use for challanges, especially when he is in super sayjin mode)
-> Having a Destroyer Lord with Res orb, will let you re-roll all failed RP's during a single phase.
-> Solar staff. Use. Free Invisibility to your blob, which can't be negated by DtW.
-> Preferred enemy to EVERYONE against EVERYTHING (re-roll 1s when shooting and wounding)

2. Keep your Stalkers in 6" of this blob and get:
-> +1 BS to the whole unit... FOR EACH STALKER, upping your blobs shooting to
potentially BS 6 (with szeras upgrade).

3. Keep your ghost ark behind the blob, providing another source of awesome gauss fire power
AND (what is much more important in this list) D3 free Warrior revives each phase!

4. Keep the Spyders in cover, or behind LOS blocking terrain, to repair any damage against your
ghostark or stalkers.

5. Immortals to distract/soften/counter assault units which target your blob.

So basically, what do you have there?
A static gunline, with 20 gauss shots with BS 5(6) at 24", +10 from the Ark,
or 40+10 within 12".
Re-rolling 1s to hit and wound, or if your dlord bites the dust, having re-rolls because
of your high as feth BS.
Nearly immortal warriors, due to re-rolls everywhere, with invisibility (no pie plate crap, punching
your warriors into the ground).

Your opponent brings lots of assault troops? Mow them down.
Your Opponent brings shooty troops? Mow them down.
He brings shooty troops with longer range than your weapons? March in formation towards him, and
show him how fancy gauss shots look from close range.
He brings knights or similar stuff? Good luck surviving a quadrillion shots that auto glance you on 6s.
Mech heavy army? Bitch please, anyone who brings lots of vehicles against necrons is possibly fethed up
anyway.
But dare you to find a way getting around all this shooting and the Immortal wall, and get charged.......
oh wait, 20+ attacks at strength 4 right? (Or even more if you charge first, but than again, you could
just shoot them down instead.)

So I guess that's all.

Happy DakkaDakka!

Until your one big unit gets charged by 2+ assault units and loses combat and gets swept.

Well, that's one of the Issues with this list.
But than again, you can shoot very much at those units, and even if they charge you,
they will be locked in combat with you forever.
It is not very likely that you will loose the combat that fast.

But it isn't supposed to be good against everything, just be cheesy in regards of some playstyles.

Against Elite armies this is certainly very good (providing a good starting position, that benefits your list.)

I think a reclamation legion with canoptek harvests and a destroyer cult would be a lot more cheesy, and it would be a much better TAC list.

You've got a big unit of Warriors that you've made really good at surviving most shooting. But how do you intend to actually win any games?

You've got exceedingly poor damage output even for Necrons. A unit of Sytheguard obliterates your deathstar (no RPs vs Destroyer) whilst a Knight runs it over as does a Wolfstar or any strong CC unit.

Sure if your opponent stands opposite you in rapidfire range firing marines at you he'll lose. However any competent player is going to beat this list by charging your deathstar with any toughish unit (doesn't even need to be a CC unit 10 tac marines would do it) that star is then locked up for the foreseeable future whilst he murders the rest of your list and runs off with all the VPs.

Swap the warriors for a lychguard unit (full of warscythe characters) and support with MSU wraiths (to catch and hold the enemy) and then you might have something. Something like this (off top of my head codex is in car):

Destroyer Lord: Warscythe 130
Obyron: 160
Orikan: 120
Cryptek: chrono, solar staff 105

10 Lychguard: sword and board: 300
3 Wraiths: 120
3 Wraiths: 120
3 Wraiths: 120
Scarabs: 60

That's about 1235 (if my points are right). Turn 1 you dump the Lychstar in front of his army popping the staff and swarm the flanks with a wraiths and Scarabs. Turn 2 charge as much as you can. Continue to coral his army with the Wraiths whilst hitting with the Lychstar.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Actually, if they had an attached Destroyer Lord and were in range of the Stalkers, they would have equivalent BS10 (hit on a 2+, rerolling 1s because of PE)

However, agreeing with FlingitNow, this list has no way to win.
All your points tied up in one block of units that have to stay in close proximity to each other to get optimum output. That means that once your Warrior blob gets engaged with anything, your opponent's army is free to do what they want without having to worry about you. Even if you were to add Anrakyr or Zahndrekh for fearless so they don't get swept in combat, they'll still be stuck for the entire game. Even if they don't get assaulted, they can only fire at one thing a turn. And they're just Warriors. Yes, the Ghost Arjk and the Stalkers can shoot at other things, but that is not enough to threaten any list.

Well, its not really cheesy. Spyders and Stalkers are not very durable and three HQs are too much.
