Hello, I am fairly new to the game and dont have much experience actually playing it. However, I have been collecting models and painting them since May 2015. I am going to be playing my buddy a lot who plays eldar. He uses the aspect host, serpents, Spiders, war walkers, and 1 wraithlord. Thankfully he hasn't gotten his hands on any wraithknight/guard/scatbikes yet, as I hear they are very strong! I have come up with a few lists to try and combat him, and was hoping you guys could give me some advice on which list is best for the job, or even a better tournament list.
List 1 - White Scars - 1850
CAD
Kor'Sarro Khan (Moondrakken, Moonfang) - 150
Chapter Master ( Artificer ,Shield Eternal, Relic Blade, Bike, Auspex) - 245
Command Squad (bikes, Apothecary, 3 storm shields, 4 grav guns) - 230
Bike Squad (5) (2 grav, combi grav) - 145
Bike Squad (3) (2 melta, combi melta + (1) Attack Bike w/ Multi Melta) - 143
Drop Pod (Storm Bolter) - 35
Centurion Devs (3 x Grav/amps, Omniscope) 250
Relic Sicaran Battle Tank (Amoured Ceramite, Lascannon sponson, Hull Mounted Heavy Bolter, Schism of Mars) - 220
Librarius Conclave
3 x Librarians (ML2, Force Sword, Bike) - 330
Inquisition
Coteaz - 100
Conclave/Both HQs go with the command squad to become a death star of sorts. Coteaz goes with the dev cents in the DP. Im not sure how the 5 man bike squad will do, or the 3 man w/ attack bike.
List 2 - DraigoKnight Star - 1850
CAD - UltraMarines
Chief Librarian Tigurius
2 x 5 man tac squads (melta gun, combi melta, Drop Pod)
Centurion Dev x 3 (omniscope, hurricane bolter)
Allied Detachment
Sevrin Loth
5 scouts (boltguns)
Nemesis Strike Force
Librarian (ML3, Nemesis Staff, Psychic hood, terminator armor)
5 man strike squad (storm bolters/swords)
Draigo
Knight Detachment
Knight Paladin - Rapid Fire Battle Cannon, Melta, Reaper CS, Stormspear Rockets
From what I understand...All the Libs/Hqs are together with the Centurions using draigo to move around the board w/ stealth. I have coteaz, but where can i fit him in here??
List 3 - UM/NSF/Knight - 1850
CAD - UltraMarines
Chief Librarian Tigurius
2 x 5 man tac squads (melta gun, combi melta, Drop Pod)
Drop Pod
Centurion Dev x 3 (omniscope, hurricane bolter)
Relic Sicaran Battle Tank (Amoured Ceramite, Lascannon sponson, Hull Mounted Heavy Bolter, Schism of Mars)
Knight Detachment
Knight Paladin - Rapid Fire Battle Cannon, Melta, Reaper CS, Stormspear Rockets
Nemesis Strike Force
Librarian (ML3, Nemesis Staff, Psychic hood, terminator armor)
5 man strike squad (storm bolters/swords)
Nemesis Dreadknight (Nemesis DH/ Powerfist, Heavy Incinerator, Personal Releporter)
Inquisition
Coteaz
All advice would be awesome!

Generally, lists 2 and 3 aren't legal for most U.S. Tournaments (ITC, NOVA) as they have 3 detachment limits. That said, different areas have different scenes. For someone still relatively new to the game I would advise trying out some mixes of your lists to find what best suits your play and makes for good, competitive, fun games with your buddy.
I generally like list 1, but it lacks a bit of punch against vehicles - Serpents will be annoying, though you can still doe them with weight of grav and the sicaran. Would suggest giving the chapter master a power fist to get some high strength deterrent in your star.

thanks for the replies. I like the 1st list, but it is true that my only good way of dealing with the WS's is my sicaran. This is why I was leaning towards the list with the drop pods (5 man 2x meltas), since I can just drop behind them and hit the 10 armor w/ no reducing pens to glances.
Any more changes you would reccommend? I heard draigo star is hard to pilot...so that may not be for me just yet!
also, since we both are just starting to play, we havent been paying attention to the common tournament rules, only codex rules. However, we should get used to them so maybe we can try some friendly tournaments out. A local game nights, do you still run across people that use these tourney rules?
thanks
