TYRANIDS!!! RAWR

Just getting into tyranids! What a cool looking army! I can't wait to get stuck in.

I will not be playing competitively, but rather narrative games and campaigns, however I am aware that I need to know the strengths and weaknesses of my units I wondered if you would help me build a list to explore the potential of my units.

Here's what I have...

Built

12 fleshborer Gants

3 warriors scything talons and deathspitters, one as a prime, and one with a venom cannon.

Unbuilt

52 Gants

52 gaunts

3 hive guard

3 raveners

Flyrant

Haruspex/exocrine

2 carnifexes

Tyrannocyte

Tervigon

Hive crone/harpy

Think that's about it, any advice welcome. Thanks in advance!

Since you have the numbers, you may like to start with an Endless Swarm:

3 Warriors (you need to buy more, as the Prime makes your unit of two illegal)
10 Hormagants
10 Hormagants
10 Hormagants
10 Termagants
10 Termagants
Special Rule: when a unit of 'gants dies, on a 4+ it enters ongoing reserves.

You then take your Flyrant as HQ and a Hive Crone as Fast Attack. A Carnifex (2 x Twin-Linked Decourers) in a Tyrannocyte in Heavy Support and the three Hive Guard in Elite. This makes a decent core, but you need to get more Synapse. Even for the most casual game, you will not have fun with so little.

Order of the Ebon Chalice, 2,624pts
Officio Assassinorum, 570pts
Hive Fleet Viracocha, 3,673pts
562pts

Well, magnets are your friend, if you can...

Currently some builds are much better than others..

So, Crone is "better" than Harpy, Exocrene is better than Haruspex...

Carnifexen do best as "Dakkafex" twin Devourers: Brain Leeches....

The will of the hive is always the same: HUNGER

I always recomend a Trygon/Trygon Prime if you are using Endless Swarm.

Second, The Exocrine goes into the tyrannocyte and deploy where you need those AP2
