Hey all, just wanted to get some thoughts and opinions about this Rotbringers list I made using the new Battalions from Quest for Ghal Maraz to see if any of you who enjoy Age of Sigmar would happily play against it.

Now i personally dont think its all that cheesey of a list, but thats just my outlook, anyway here it is, without using any Comp system or balancing method:

So yeah... A bit cheesey...

The reason I have not used any form of Comp system in this list is because my local store typically plays using a warscroll count, which in this case amounts up to 8. This army also is not made for friendly pick up games, as there is a campaign being held next week, for friendly games I will be toning this down a lot.

So there we have it, let me know what you guys would do differently for a competitive list and what changes I could make, (I'm particularly open to using Pestilens units too, if thats any help)

Wait, you limit warscrolls but not model count for each scroll? That seems pretty pointless since you could just as well bring 20 or 30 Blight Kings in each unit then. Nothing wrong with your list but that limit seems arbitrary.

Do you have that many Blightkings??!

Do you anticipate using the Lord of Plagues as your general most times?

Yeah I understand what you guys are saying with just the warscroll restriction but that is just how we play at my local store, it does work oddly so long as you play the right people. I do always ask if my opponent is okay with me using it before hand for friendly games too, but for competitive play (upcoming tournament at GW next month, for example) I need 4 separate units to use the Battalion, of which I can only currently and only ever plan to muster 10 per unit. Speaking of which, this tourney being ran at my local GW does have a limit of a maximum 70 models per army, half of which can be summoned once if you wish and have a model which can summon them.

And yes indeed I do own said 40 Blightkings... I went a bit overboard with that one... But yes the Lord of Plagues is usually my choice as General, although I have considered swapping that role to the Glottkin in Tourney games.

Lord of plagues command ability sucks for competitive you'd be way better going for glotkin

However I run something very similar to this except I do the Nurgles Deluge and I have over 50 bases of Nurglings a daemon Prince 2x10 blight kings and Mobidex and it's incredible fun to play

I'm going to say that against storm add your gonna have a problem you do a lot of attacks but storm cast can have amazing armor saves and since you have no rend your gonna come across some problems

But overall not a bad list just a little to few models

A list with that many blightkings begs for Epidemius. Depending on how elite your local meta is he's probably better than even a GUO in that list. And if you own Bloab or Glottkin then swap him/them in place of Festus.
