It seems most people are using squads of 3, is it worth running bigger squads for 1850 games or should I just stick with squads of 3?

I'll use an example of 3x5 and 5x3

Same amount of firepower, but the 5 groups of 3 can capture more objectives and can target more units.

Only advantage of large groups is leadership tests for losing 25% but a savvy opponent will try and get that as it can remove that unit of bikes off the table if failed.

I'd say groups of 5 is optimal.

They definitely want to be in small squads, no more than 5 in a pack. This lets them shoot at more targets and makes it a lot easier for them to hide when they JSJ. I would stick to squads of 3, but I know some people like 5 so there isn't a morale check if 1 dies. I haven't seen anyone use squads of 4.
