It has been quite some time since the last time I played tau, last time I played tau was shortly after the 4 edition codex came out, so a little rusty on the synergies of the army. I still have a small force that is mostly just suits.

This still leaves me with around 75 pts that I can play with. I have a bunch of drones and some stealth suits I am not sure what to do with. May try and add a fortification or another few crisis suits.

First and foremost Tau are getting a new codex really soon,like in a few weeks so things will change especially new suits and rules etc.But I'll still give you my review of this list.

I see you're playing farmech list .If so you're going to lose some good anti infantry potential in FW. These guys are your bread and butter ,they ARE your gunline so to speak.(even though it breaks lore) get 2 max squads with an ethereal to buff the,.I've wiped out whole units of gaunts with these guys plus some markerlights which is the next thing.You don't have much markerlights,go get some pathfinders for the spare points and when the games starts but them in a place were they can survive the game and continually pump out markerlights.

Those crisis suits with the plasma/flamer are a bit strange. As in they have a close range anti infantry weapon(something you don't want to do as Tau) and a anti TEQ weapon ,these don't mix well. Either go double plasma or plasma/fusion for that team .

It might be good to drop dual plasma squad and make it a 2/3x man unit w/ drones and dual fusion blasters that Farsight can join his trait makes it so he doesn't scatter so deepstrike next to a vehicle and pop it with some meltas.

WHOA!

Tau are getting new models & codex in OCTOBER! This MONTH! Farsight enclave was removed from GW site. WAIT for the changes before getting any Farsight army together. They might not even be a thing after October!

DO NOT BUY TAU ARMY YET, NEW CODEX IS DUE IN NEXT FEW WEEKS
