So this is my first look into AoS. In fact it's my first time looking into fantasy at all. So here's my vampire count list. I don't know if it's any good, what kind of "point value" to judge it by, or any other way to measure it as a list. That said, any feedback at all would be great. Thanks!

Inquisitorial lesson #298: Why to Hate Choas Gods, cont'd-
With Chaos, Tzeench would probably turn your hands, feet and face into
scrotums, complete with appropriate nerve endings. Then Khorne would
force you and all your friends to fight to the death using your new
scrotal appendages. Once they get tired of that, you get tossed to
Slaanesh who <censored by order of the Inquisition>, until you finally
end up in Nurgle's clutches and he uses you as a loofah.

Maybe look at command abilities of various characters to take one that is synergistic with your force instead of 2 identical ones? Von carstein montarch has re-rolls which is a strong one. That way you can change what ability you use dependent on who you pick as general. Remember characters don't "join units" any more.

A Necrotect will improve the catapult considerably.

If you intend summoning, morghasts are great. The archers never do significant damage for me though. Ethereal troops are great tanks. Cast mystic shield and get them in cover and they are a pain to shift as they ignore rend. I always try to summon a banshee in cover close to a target I want to hurt and watch the panic dealing with it whilst my army moves up. Spirit hosts are also nasty (combine with rerolls from Carstein and it hurts lots - on average 5 mortal wounds and 5 hits per combat, again ignoring rend)
