Figured I'd give the GHQ range a go, having been impressed by the 1/2400 warships.

Turned out ok, work in progress but more or less usable.

Hind-D, waiting panel lining

T-72, waiting weathering

Nice little models, Some Americans with primer curing for attention tomorrow.

When the rulebook actually lands will be able to go from the get go so to speak.

GHQ have freebie download paper buildings which are ok, not found a UK stockist who carries the solid terrain though. Bag of 100 trees on the bay for a fiver as well.

Will be getting more of this, used to live Space Marine...

Somewhere in south-central England.

The detail on GHQ is awesome and puts UK 1/300 scale tanks to shame. I've heard they were originally produced for the US Army to use in wargames.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Very nice. GHQ does make some great stuff. I was actually originally planning to do Cold War in 1/285 using GHQ miniatures. Unfortunatly, everyone else in my local gaming group wants to do it in 15mm so I'm stuck.

Not sure what everyone else is going for, will get a 15mm force as if TY takes off any events are bound to use that though. Thoughts on the GHQ models was twofold, firstly the micro armour rules actually look pretty good, and secondly even if no one else at the club collects it, its small enough to take both sides up

They are wonderfully detailed models

Looking good, Leopard! Very effective.

For general information, they have freebie download rules too.

That was my thinking! I know folks who have 15mm and 1/72, but as far as I know, none of them are set up for North Africa. Which is what I fancy doing. (Who doesn't want to pretend to be Monty vs. Rommel, I ask ya?)

I just need to... do something about it.

They are wonderfully detailed models

That. Almost unbelievable how well detailed they are, for historical microarmour.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

Have the free WW2 rules, and the quick Tanks! game for more modern stuff. Just not easy to get hold of this stuff...

WW2 in the desert... now that could look jaw dropping in this scale.

Got these from Wargames Emporium, old website was a bit nicer (let you place orders for out of stock items, which they were more than happy to order, just took a few weeks), last time I checked the new one doesn't - dare say they will be happy to do it though if contacted directly.

Not had the time to do any more of these, have some ZSU, BMP-2 and carnations sitting in the basic green but unweathered and the bases not done waiting a quiet day or three.
