The list is just 4 Wardens using Baronial court. I want some harsh criticism. I am totally going to lose vs maelstrom but this is going to be so fun! Also everyone is going to tailor their list with the most meltas and most lascannons, lances, emp grenades, haywire etc... This is an easy target dakkanuts.

Alternatively, Gimp one as the sacrificial Gallant and use the points to buy a storm spear.

It will be an easy army to play.

As for maelstrom, just sit on 4 objectives per turn. Should be doable with the movement IK can achieve, maybe?

The weakness of a Baronial Court rather than a Household detachment is no Objective Secured, but your improved ion shields make it harder to take down.

You should be able to take objectives if you need to, to be honest. EMP grenades shouldn't be an issue - if you're charging at them, a gatling burst plus a heavy flamer should murder most of a tau infantry squad anyway, and they'll need 5's to hit your WS5 dude as well.

The trick will be figuring out how to provide mutual cover (both in terms of protective fire and of actual cover saves) whilst splitting up enough to take objectives.

If you move up, take four objectives and sit on them.... I'm not sure it'll win you games. You're likely to see one or more knights flanked and put in a crossfire - which is lethal because so much of your survivability is tied up in that ion shield, and only covers one facing at once. Plus you may see an expendable objective secured unit run in and capture the objective off you. You'll squash it like a bug the following turn, but trading a 35 point rhino for a tactical objective is a fair trade, and your opponent can keep doing that...

A better choice might be sit on 2-3 objectives, and have 1-2 knights stay mobile to intercept threats and try to claim "murder tonnes of dudes" objective cards.

I thought I can only get household if i had 5 IK. so its not even a choice. No obj sec is harsh.

Household detachment only requires 3 - 5 Knights. So you could definitely get obsec if you want it.

i agree. the baronial court is great but you need to stay close enough to get 3+ and only in the front.

to claim an objective each that realistcally is hard to do.

IMHO, ObSec is better for you.
