Can you post some pictures of the finished model? That video, while shot well, doesn't show any end results of your labor. For me, at least, what that video showcased was how to paint stripes on Orc skin. It looked less like muscle striation and more like tattoo or warpaint. I don't know if that's due to the actual colors used or the lack of context with the rest of the skin and surrounding colors present. I would very much like to see how this method looks when all is said and done. I can certainly see what you're going for and it looks similar to muscle striation I've seen in the past, but I really would like to see more.
I would like to see more lighting on your tutorials. Not sure if it is just me but it is hard to see what you are doing while painting due to lighting. I like the effect but the contrast on the stripes/muscle banding is a little high.
Yeah that's fair criticism. I'm actually going to be getting an hdmi recorder box so I can start using my dslr for videos. I'll probably add some more lights too; so the quality will improve a fair bit once I get rid of my crappy webcam setup.
