PSC do a 1:100 Tiger and the T34/85 is 1:72.

The new KV1 (with two gun options) is nice and the much delayed T-60 is handy. I wonder what Zvesda will bring out in 2016.

Did'nt spot the 1/72 lol.

Yes PSC do 15mm as do Forged in Battle,Skytrex and Battlefront but Zvezdas price target is £2.99.

At the moment the prices are high as people are cashing in on limited stock. As soon as the stock floods the market if like the other sales in eBay there will be sellers offering 4 Tigers for £10

Yes the quality is not as high but after the paint drys who will know the difference

I'm pretty sure the PSC Tigers are only a pound or so more and are higher quality kits. Given how few Tigers you'll ever need, even in a Tiger list, I think the minor cost increase is well offset by the quality improvement. YMMV

Nothing against Zvesda, I own and like a lot of their kits. I'm planning to pick up a bunch of their Lee's for a mid war Soviet project.

Nice. I remember them announcing these at the beginning of the year, I never thought they'd get them out before the end of 2015.

I heard a rumour that Zvezda are having a few financial difficulties and they are going to be putting future 1\100 stuff on hiatus for the foreseeable future to concentrate on their core line. I hope its not true as I really like their 15mm stuff for fleshing out my WW2 armies and hope the range will keep expanding.

Just a quick bit of info. I just got my sticky hands on a Zvezda Tiger and assembled it and in my mind it's the best quality Zvezda 1/100 model so far. I don't sell or promote any product,I just play with the stuff and if this product goes down to £2.99 PSC,Battlefront and the rest are in trouble because the quality of the product is very high.

I have built over 100 Zvezda models and this model is of a much higher degree of quality and very quick and easy to assemble. There are also no gaps between joints which was a previous Zvezda trate.

Another Tiger with Zimmerit is needed but a simple job for Zvezda to change the molds me thinks ?

Happy Christmas folks

I'd like to see pics of the Tiger I as well .It looks like the Zvesda kits are evolving (the KV kit with multiple gun barrels is evidence of this).

Which game/period is the Zvesda Tiger released for?

Zvezda seems to be slowly marching through the Eastern Front with their Art of Tactic series, so If I would venture to bet that the next one will be Battle of Kursk.

This link has some images of the tiger.

That tigger looks perfectly serviceable, have a few zvezda models in various forces and once painted up they tend to be fine.

If they start adding the ability to have an open hatch with a commander they could probably shift a lot more.

Wonderfully cheap basic models that are easily 'good enough'

A link to Zvezda's 2016 Catalog has been placed on TMP. For German and Russian players it's going to be a bonanza year. However nothing is scheduled for the Western allies or for Hot War. Anyway in 1/100 we can expect:

- T-34/85
- SU-152
- IS-2
- ISU-152
- SU-100
- Jagdpanther
- Ferdinand
- Panther Ausf. A
- Koenigstiger
- Sturmtiger
- Jagdtiger

Happy new year!

Some nice stuff there. I'd have to check the book to see the difference between the SU-152 and the ISU-152 stats. I'm surprised there is no SU-122 as it would have been a licence to print money had they released one.

I've never really looked at their ship models before. The Sevastopol looks interesting. The I-16 is tempting as well. I may have a crack at some 1:144 Spanish Civil war dogfighting. While there's a lot of new tanks there a lot of it is already available in plastic or fielded in such few numbers that plastic isn't that much of a benefit.

Happy new year!

Nice i see i few that i am interested in. Also i had brain fart the other day. didnt Zvezda alreadt make a TAnks style game a few years ago? Because it seems to me that GF9 is kinda ripping that off. Also i would play that Tanks game but the damage chart needs updated to be like the ones in old 40k or BA. On fire blew the track off,gun damged etc/.
One more thing does anyone know of a Soviet lend lease list that use grant/Leetanks?
Because iam looking for another 15mm project and for some reason building a LEnd Lease regiment just sounds kewl. yes, i want to build a regiment 5000pts of Commie love.
My other project is to get my MW OP BF evan paras built and painted.Theese models have been hard for me to get i have managed to get 3 blister in 3 years and the last one is still sealed.HArd call to open or not to.

No specific Lend-Lease list, but the FC Red Army Medium Tankovy options in Mid-War allow the use of Lees--you can't get any Trained ones, though--as do most of the LW Tankovy Company options in Red Bear.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I'm planning a mid war lend lease army of Lees and Matilda IIs. I would have made one for early war but the list is bobbins.

Someone should start a thread.

WOw,Big year for Zvezda.I see the got they gaming liscense for quit a few big names.World of ships ,i wonder if they got world of tanks also. All of the disney stuff especially the new Star Wars models and one i like is the Cars movie TT if my niece were alittle i think i would buy and play a few games with them of course with some bourbon just to make sure i got my goofy corn juice.
I do like the selection of the moderns in 20mm and too bad the kewl ww2 armor is in 1/35. Sometimes i question myself on gaming in funky scales.
But i do know that when we fire up ancients this year it will be in 20mm,The rules WAB 2nd edition.
Also they make me want to play World of Ships now.
