I'm planning to start a mid-war Tankovy list with lend lease tanks so I'm fishing around for opinions on all aspects of lend lease armour in Soviet hands.

I think i would have a boat load of Grant/Lee Tanks.I havent played them in Fow but are one of my favorite tanks in the Men of war Vid game.I especially like the the idea of the small and medium guns on them with mgs and also now you can buy the from Zvezda so you can put a company together pretty cheap, throw on some stowage they would look decent.
Also Zvezda has all of the Allied Mw tanks you would probably need.

I love the lend lease soviets. Mid war they are amazing I run
HQ Stuart
Stuart platoon
Sherman platoon
BA 65s
SU122s
SU85s.
You need can add from there but the combat platoons need to be atleast 8 strong platoons. Depending on points I usually have 21 Stuart's and 8 Sherman's

Nope.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

The only tank units that ignore Hen and Chicks are the Guards Heavies, and the vet lists from Desperate Measures and Berlin. Even the Guards Medium units use Hen and Chicks.

IIRC that would leave L/L Churchills as the only option that avoids H&C.

I'm also planning to use Zvesda Lees. In reality the tank was not liked by the Soviets but it's actually pretty reasonable in FoW. I also plan to use CS Matilda IIs (by modifying the Zvesda kits). Again the Soviets didn't like them but they're pretty good in FoW (especially in late war).

I wish someone would make a cheap Valentine and rewrite the god awful Early War L/L tank list.
