I am looking for some talk on this game, I got an advice that I could find this here! What forum should I search?

Here's a good start: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1621/mutant-chronicles-siege-citadel

I have a copy buried away somewhere, I found it quite enjoyable so many years ago.

Armies: Space Marines, IG, Tyranids, Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Dark Eldar.
I am the best 40k player in my town, I always win! Of course, I am the only player of 40k in my town.

Check out my friends over at Sea Dog Game Studios, they always have something cooking: http://www.sailpowergame.com. Or if age of sail isn't your thing check out the rapid fire sci-fi action of Techcommander http://www.techcommandergame.com

Are you talking about the new or old? I thought I heard there was a new version coming.

There should be a Mutant Chronicles thread in News and Rumors. Failing that try the Misc Miniatures board.

I mean both the new and the old. I'll search those threads.

The Siege of the citadel forums at boardgame geek have not had any action in years. :( That's what you get for a game from the 90's.

The new one is coming from us at Modiphius www.modiphius.com/siege-of-the-citadel - best place to discuss is the Boardgamegeek forum linked above though

Will there be any teasers?

On Modiphius it says "Narrative led designs will build on the original gameplay mechanics".

I am interested in knowing if the reboot will be compatible with the original game, in terms of board size and game mechanics.

Thanks!

...regarding Siege of the Citadel forum at Boardgamegeek, there is no activity there at all. It seems more likely to be able to talk about the game here.

I still have one in the shrink, with the "almost glow-in-the-dark" gribbly. Back in the day, we couldn't be bohered to put down Space Hulk long enough to give it a try.

Might have to now, though. Thanks for bringing it up!

...haha, I always dreamed of owning Space Hulk. If you compare Siege of the Citadel with for example Fury of the Clansmen, the (event) cards is what make the difference. If you pull the right card you could ruin the evening of a player in one move! Very unfair and very fun. I do not know the system in Space Hulk though, so I do not know how it compare. I suspect it is more balanced.

I didn't realize this game was up for a reboot. I had it back in the day and we played one or two games of it. A couple of the figures got modded and are still in my Blood Angels army, but I sold off the tiles and other game bits a long time ago.

With the Warzone/Mutant Chrnoices universe back in production, I'll be curious to see what they do with this game. It doesn't bode well though that they're using Warhammer 40k art to promote their game...

Who would like to buy the tiles from Siege of the Citadel? Only for repairing an old game, or would there be other reasons? Just curious.

My guess is anyone that plays miniature games or RPG's on grids could use a set of tiles. Spacehulk, Descent, Heroquest, Legion's of Steel, etc...
I had no problem selling off a couple sets of tiles from Sedition Wars too. I bought 3 sets to build a generic sci-fi trooper force from the "Vangaurd" figs.

My buddy once ran an ALIEN style game using tiles (don't remember which) and modfied In The Emperor's Name rules.

The old game is great. Rules are free, if you want them. The miniature's are on EBay for a song and a dance.

The odd, "Heavy Metal" magazine charm was all over this game, not to mention the artwork.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I got it still with all parts intact! Save the box lid is battered, and that the Monster Card 10, the Nefarit is lost.
