So tomorrow I'm going to be playing in my first tournament at my FLGS, run by Gail Martindale. The two lists I've come up with / shamelessly stole from the interwebs...

My thought is that Butcher3 will be my drop for most things. I'm bringing the Vlad1 list with me incase I run into Cryx or Menoth (it's a gun line army I found that I like). I've thought about dropping the Windowmaker Marksman for Midwinter for a little more anti-magic.

What do you guys think overall? I'd like to think that overall my lists will at least allow me to have a little fun. If you see any GLARING mistakes in your opinions let me know. Obviously you don't know the Rochester NY meta but if I've made a seriously bonehead mistake I'd like to know!

Widowmaker Marksman (Full) do you mean regular widowmakers? Marksman is a solo, and while widowmakers don't have a min/max unit they're the only unit.

Most importantly for Vlad, if you're intending to run it as a gun line into Menoth, you need magic attacks or else they're jacks will just raise their giant metal finger to you and walk forwards laughing. So that'd mean Aiyana and Holt. I also think Vlad wants Joe. If you're taking the rifle corps he just turns them on so much more even with s&p, /stops them getting broken by one random abom test or something sad. They're good with S&p don't get me wrong, but they're better with s&p and joe.

I don't know if Butcher needs the regular Iron Fang UA, I feel he does better when they have the Black Dragon UA. They don't need to get as far forwards to jam because you have the boomies, and silence of death + Black Dragons is a thing of beauty. I'd also consider epic eiryss over prime eiryss, because if you're using her to set up the assassination being able to knock off admonition as well as their focus or something like that is really useful.

I started typing this post going point by point agreeing with motyak, but it is far easier to just say that I agree with everything he said. Those would be my changes as well.

I love the normal Iron Fang Pikemen UA, but Butcher3 definitely wants Black Dragons instead. I have found that with the way I play pSorscha and eSorscha, I almost always want the normal UA instead, but I have noticed that almost every iteration of the Butcher is all about the BD Pikemen.
