Are any of those Ravenwing bikes Black Knights? What are they armed with? What are the land speeders attended with? Do you have any terminator HQ?

You're really close to a Lion's Blade (pages 94-95 of the DA codex), you'd just need an Assault Squad. You could then add Ravenwing Attack Squadrons (p142) for the bikes and speeders, and a Deathwing Redemption Force (p141) by getting a HQ in terminator armour.

Alternatively, you could leave the Greenwing at home and bring a Ravenwing Strike Force backed up by a Deathwing Strike Force (p158-159) by getting a HQ on a bike and a HQ in terminator armour.

As Axis says, more info on the armaments will help, or are these yet to be assembled? Do either of the builds above interest you or would you rather a more customisable CAD-based army?

It doesnt really matter in are freind group whats on the models just that the look like a bike or the unit. Theyre very casual i heard on this great idea where you assault on bikes locking up there main forces and you use the speeder to haul tons of missiles at the other ones but what else would you put in it. Is that 1500 list or more? Could you run it at 1000?

Certainly doable at that points level. If we're going the assault route, Black Knights win out over ordinary bikers, so:

Ravenwing Strike Force
Librarian, ML2, Bike, Auspex.
Ravenwing Command Squad (5), Apothecary, Company Champion.
Black Knights (5).
Black Knights (5).
Land Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher + Heavy Bolter.
Land Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher + Heavy Bolter.
Land Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher + Heavy Bolter.

Clocks in at 975 pts, and you can either sprinkle some Melta Bombs in or some other upgrade. I've left the Speeders as individuals instead of a squadron, allowing more multi-targetting and not forcing everybody to jink at the same time, but the downside is they are likely to give up First Blood.
Swapping one of the Typhoon Speeders for a Darkshrould would also be good - makes the Black Knights in range of it a 2+ re-rollable Jink and prevents enemy overwatch. Might not win you friends that way though.

Ok, so what to add to that to get it to 1500? Not enough points for any serious terminator investment, so it'll have to be a bit of greenwing:

List as above, plus:
Land Speeder, Typhoon Missile Launcher + Heavy Bolter.
Combined Arms Detachment
Chaplain, Bike, Auspex.
Tactical Squad (6), Meltagun, Combi-melta on Sarge, Drop Pod.
Tactical Squad (6), Grav Cannon + Amp, Combi-grav on Sarge, Drop Pod.

Again, some spare points for odds and ends. Now Grav would normally be better on a Relentless platform, but we've used up all the bikes you have with Black Knights, so it'll just have to do - if opponent has a scary tank, use the melta squad on turn 1, if a scary monster, use the grav squad instead.

If you're happy going Unbound, then go for it - the Tac squads are there to fill the mandatory Troops slots in the CAD (DA can't make terminators troops anymore, ).

If it needed to be bound, you could take two units of Terminators and a Terminator HQ as a Deathwing Strike Force instead of the CAD (you'd have to drop a model from the Ravenwing for the points for it at 1500), but you couldn't take any Drop Pods (they aren't a dedicated option for Terminators). Since we have the RW Strike Force already, we wouldn't have to roll for reserves (the Summoned to War rule, p158), but they'd only come down turn two at the earliest.
You can buy non-dedicated Fast Attack-slot Drop Pods and put a unit of Terminators in them, but to do that whilst bound we'd have to bump up to 2000pts.

I thought I read somewhere that if the hq is on a bike, we could field tactical marines from 6th company on bikes. so for another 200 points those tactical marines could be on sm bikes, as sixth co is all trained to ride, like seventh is to fly landspeeders.. or is that Just fluff and not table relevant?

That's not Dark Angels. Maybe some other Space Marine chapter.

Yeah, that's Codex: Space Marines marines (and Blood Angels I think). DA don't get that option - all their bikes and speeders belong to the second company (and a Company Master can't take a bike).

we are codex compliant with companies 3 thru 10.

Well, having the assault squad allows you to take a Demi-Battle Company, which is required for a Lions Blade strike force. This would be unwieldy at smaller points values, and you can't take any Black Knights in one, so you'd be forced to either use them as regular Ravenwing (not a terrible option) or you could (at higher points levels) take a Lions Blade (fitting in the Demi-Company and a Deathwing Redemption Force to use the terminator models) with a Ravenwing Strike Force as a separate detachment (which you can then fill with Black Knights, though they wouldn't get the Lions Blade bonuses).

Either of those tickle your fancy?
