The idea is to team up Zandrekh and the Royal Court along with the Lychguard. The unit can deep strike, teleport, force snap shots for a turn, tank anything AP 3 or greater with the overlord on a 2+ rerollable or LOS to Lychguard with 3++ rerolling ones and resurrection protocols on 4+ also rerolling ones. It lacks shooting, but it can do work in melee with two warscythes, ten hyper phase swords, and Orikan's empowered profile. Zandrekh offers tactical flexibility with his choice of warlord traits and copying unique abilities from other units.
What do you think of the list? My only concern at this point is that, while the Deathstar is absolutely hard to crack, the offense isn't nearly as crazy as some other lists in the competitive meta.

Lychstar does not die. Which is good. But it's also really slow. You will struggle to ever get it into combat. You can't charge after you deep strike remember. Like a lot of necron armies, this can hold one side of the table and get a draw.

This is what I was mostly afraid of. Do you have other recommendations specifically for how to make the army more "killy"?

I personally prefer using Flayed Ones in that unit instead of Lychguard. Cheaper to use. Better vs.massed Grav. Shred is great if Zandrek still has Zealot. I also like to add in a Cryptek with the 5+ invul vs. shooting. A rez orb is also mandatory for your mega unit. I have not found anything that this unit cannot kill. Just have Zandrek tank the easy wounds, and LOS for the dangerous ones.
When the end of the game is near, you can also Voltron the characters out of the unit to hold/contest objectives too.

I am new to the Necron's, currently working on my DA army. However I am curious what about a Triarch Stalker or Deathmask are they not worth it?

Stalkers are worth it in an anti-tank role or as part of a Judicator Battalion. Deathmarks can be good, but are unreliable. They either come down and completely wreck face or do absolutely nothing and you need 7-10 of them if they're going to have any meaningful impact.
For the list
1. Instead of running Lord with Veil, run Vargard Obyron. He has a Veil built-in (Ghostwalk Mantle) and a Warscythe, but has better stats and can protect Zandrekh.
2. 10 Lychguard is overkill. With Orikan in the unit, five is all you need.
3. I don't love Ghost Arks. Being open-topped, they get completely wrecked by anything with Melta and mine always die turn two.
4. I don't encourage competitive spam lists, but if that's what you're going for drop the Arks and five of the Lychguard to get another Canoptek Harvest.

Thanks for the tip. Question wouldn't it be best to run a Stalker since most armies run some kinda armor tanks/transport? That kinda sucks to hear about the Deathmarks since I figure the wreck all the time, but deep strike mishaps can happen.

It depends. Wraiths chomp through armour like nobody's business, if the original poster takes my suggestions, this list will have 10+ Wraiths in it, so the Stalker is probably unnecessary at that point. For Deathmarks, it's not just the mishaps, though those are certainly factors. #1. If you get first turn and pass your turn two reserve roll they often come down with no good targets. Second, you're hoping for 6s to rend. Sometimes you roll five 6s and sometimes you roll zero. It's the same problem Gauss faces.

I see said the blind man.....so could you not just use them as snipers or take objective secure and hold it or do they not have objective secure?

Nothing in a decurion has objective secured. Further deathmarks will never have it as they are elites.

They can score objectives, but don't have objective secured for the reasons Epartalis mentioned, so they would always get beat out by a unit that does. You could just deploy your Deathmarks and not deep strike, but then you can't use Hunters From Hyperspace, (the wound on 2+ ability), which is, arguably, the reason you take them in the first place.

Oh I see thank you for the insight!
