Hey guys, I know with Mark III they released the War Room app and have new faction cards coming out along with the new actual rulebook the hard cover and smaller version with the new battlegroup boxes.....

Does the new prime book have the armies inside of it? Or are they releasing new books for the factions along with the rulebook?

I cant find anything that suggests that they are, so im just curious.

They are releasing new Faction books, which they are calling Commander(?) books. In addition to these, they are also going to be releasing smaller Theme books with special "theme" army lists. They posted a video on Youtube recently about the new books:

-mdauben, would you happen to have any more info on when they will be released? Privateer Presses website is weird to navigate and when i get to the books, it only shows the old books

Unfortunately, my knowledge is limited to what's in the video. I have not seen any other info on book releases from Privateer yet.

They are supposed to be later this year. MkII had all the themes come out one after the other over a course of months.

The small books in the battleboxes is just rules. The faction overview is really, really basic.

The bigger rule books have some of the rules for each faction, but not all of them. I'd say more models than the Mk2 prime book. They've included the new warcaster, the 1st colossal, more units and a brand new unit for each faction. But it is a far cry from having an entire army book. I think it is pretty likely they will release something like that down the road, but not 100% sure how everything will shape up in regards to army books, theme forces, new releases, etc.
