Hey Guys,
Well what a great start! We have loads of amazing stretch goals and Add-ons coming as well as a social media campaign. 1 extra mini "The Dread Runner" has already been unlocked. Come and join in on the fun!
A fearless crew of space pirates stumble upon the legendary warship "Darkness". Breach is the only option, but once aboard the realize the ship is a fly trap. Evil plans to break their spirit, make them minions and drop 'em off in Hell. But this crew will have non of it. They decide to sabotage the ship, even if it means they go down with it.

The base game is a Co-op space crawl on a massive warship, where 1-4 players play the Pirates who are under the assault of vicious demons (demons are controlled by the game). There are 24 scenarios in the base game. These scenarios are story driven and players can choose their own path to Glory. I posted some minis, rules, components and packaging.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Dez.

Been following this one on Facebook.

Interested, but would really like to see some of these figures printed up to see how the detail holds.

A scifi crawler type game is just about the only thing my collection is lacking, considering I have just about every other major crawler out there.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Not a fan of the heroes, but the Darkened are excellent. They're exactly the kind of monsters I've been wanting for a long time, my favourite kind of demon.

Will there be any expansions to the miniatures line?

Thank you very much for your request!
We don't have plans right now to sell only the miniatures but a few people have requested it, so we are looking into it.
Thanks, Dez.

This looks very interesting.

The heroes look good, but a little too over the top for my taste. The aliens are awesome!

Are there rules for solo play, or does someone need to control the aliens?

Thank you so much for your kind words about the Darkened. Yes we have big plans for expanding the miniature line. There is an add on in the KS campaign that expands the game to a 6 player mode, so we're expanding the pirate line up to 6 heroes.
I shouldn't really talk about this, but let's just say the Darkened go a little deeper into Darkness, if you get my drift.

Thank you so much for your kind words about the sculpts and poses. No we don't have final production minis yet, we are hoping to raise the funds for manufacturing through Kickstarter,

Thank you so much for saying the game looks interesting. Yes the hero minis are a little over the top and I know that's not everyone's taste. We just felt they were right for this game. Yes the Aliens/Demons are getting a very positive response. You just never know what people are going to like, we just designed the minis true to the spirit of the game. Hopefully people will appreciate that. In the base version you can play solo no problem. I did it a lot during testing it was a lot of fun. You really get sucked into the theme very deeply.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post I really appreciate it.
Dez.

Hi thanks for your question. When you say "manufacturing" do you mean printing components including mass producing the minis or do you mean creating/designing? I only ask because your second sentence says "I hate to ask" then refers to the design looking familiar etc. I am the Designer and Art Director and I haven't designed any other games so I'd love to know if there is something out there that is similar.
Again thanks so much for the time you took to post, we really appreciate it.

What they're trying to say is that it looks a bit like design work done by Prodos, who I'm sure you are aware can generate a whole lot of emotions out of people on the internet.

After issues with Prodos' own campaigns people are hesitant about backing games made by them as there have been many issues.

Have you gotten any 3d prints made of the figures? I know we've seen lots of renders so far, but prints help get a sense of scale, which is a big sticking point for a lot of minis collectors/ painters/ gamers.

Looking forward to the 5th!

Hey Highlord!
It looks like design work done by Prodos? Really? Can you show me some samples? Do you mean the minis or the Art Direction of the game or both? I can assure you Prodos has nothing to do with this game.

Yup,

even if you don't let people pick and choose minis (which to be honest is going to make everything much more complicated for you)

a pledge level to get all the minis in the KS game box in a plain box (if you don't want to do anything fancy) would probably go down well with people, and shouldn't make your packing and shipping too much more complicated

That is what I was trying to ask without naming the name. The art direction is really what made me think of Prodos. Nothing concrete, just style wise.

Well that kinda sux cause I surely don't want anyone to think Prodos has anything to do with this game. This is the first time I'm hearing the comparison but maybe others saw it but didn't say anything. Anyway, this product is Prodos FREE!

That big boss looks quite imposing!

Those are still 3d renders, right? Or are those actual test prints? I'm having a hard time telling!

That's "Kang" in the middle. He's a big boy. Those are 3D prints, they look fantastic. This image is actually missing one of the bosses and a lot of board runners. We were just testing the light.

Re-quoting since it seems to get missed.

Sorry Theophony,
The minis will be board game plastic and we haven't made our final decision on who will be casting. Ludo and Panda are in the mix, There have been requests for a mini only option and Resin option so we are looking into those as well.

In terms of my own observation of one of the factories mentioned

Panda did the initial casting of the Cthulhu Wars Kickstarter and made a really good job (and these were complex shapes)of it but were pretty slow compared to their own estimates pre-project,

however they have apparently strengthened their systems and improved capacity since then

I've heard that Panda is really slow, so if you go with them I would take whatever time quote they give you and add a couple extra months just to be safe

On the other hand, Panda did a fairly disappointing job on the minis for INCURSION, IMO.

Panda is 'OK' for 'board game' quality minis.

Beyond that?
