I'm not new at all to tabletop gaming but I'm new to warmachines. I know the rules fairly well but have zero experience as to how things work out on the table. Not sure what is effective or ineffective at the end of the day.

Basically I feel the new Makeda2 wants lots of infantry. Coincidentally skorne have an incredible infantry unit in nihilators.

The warbeasts give me a range of animus to choose from with the brute sticking to shield wall makeda to suffer ranged firepower as she moves towards her target.

Some questions,

Do I have to many/few or just the right # of warbeasts for fury management?

Are nihilators that much better than praetorian swordsmen even with the makeda bonus of vengeance?

Is Aptimus Marketh good with Makeda? It seems she'll be able to kill enough to generate soul tokens. She certainly wants to upkeep stormrager all the time and he can always cast prostration if she doesn't want to switch stormrager. I just want some fury management for her.

Is anything obvious missing?
