Got a rules question that came up after a game last night.

My opponent was summoning Sylvaneth Wyldwoods and laying down three bases of Citadel Woods on each successful 'Silent Communion' with his Treelord Ancients. Afterwords, mostly because of how out of hand it got and I want to better counter it, I noticed the Warscroll for Sylvaneth Wyldwood states it is "two or more Citadel Woods". At the time we were sure it was three bases of Citadel Woods because that is how GW advertises their Sylvaneth Wyldwoods.

Bottom line should my opponent be laying down two or three Citadel Woods?

well, he fully fell under the rules as he was, indeed, summoning 2 or more bases. So I guess the correct answer is however many you want above a minimum of 2?

I'll never be able to repay CA for making GW realize that The Old World was a cash cow, left to die in a field.

The warscroll got updated to "up to three". Enjoy the scenics

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Look at the bright side, it's now 1 to 3 before it was just 2+. So he could make a wyldwood cover the entire board if he wanted before.

They can't be within 1" of another model or terrain feature, it's worth keeping that in mind. Also if you play destruction alliance then there's a command trait to destroy the effects of terrain while leaving the model on the board which neuters such a tactic pretty hard.

Different sources of producing them have different restrictions on how they're to be placed in regards to distance from other things which can be annoying.

Also true, I was referring specifically to the spell btw.
